Location, food excellent as always, great service, very friendly staff ?

Lots of nice touches. Great outside space, hand cooked chips, real mushrooms, core removed from tomatoes.Manager never stopped - excellent service.

Room no window, handle coming off door ,toilet seat coming off and very flat pillows in Fraser Room not value for money

Food was excellent Manager Ian was very helpful and went out his way to make cocktails that wasn't on the menu. Atmosphere was great with the piano been playing while having dinner .Definitely be back

Like the location, the room and ambiance of the hotel. Food was good and staff very friendly and helpful

No problem or issue for us, But There is a lovely bath in the bathroom, but thats also your shower facility for that room. Could be an issue for older people. But if thats an issue for somebody, asked a room with shower cabin.

Fantastic location with wonderful staff that couldn't do enough for us

Our room door didn't lock. The room could do with blinds as there was a large gap between the bay window and the curtains, allowing sunshine directly on our faces from 5 am .

Location, staff and food.

Great overall but for the price I thought some areas needed attention. The room we had had a window that was stuck at the bottom and wouldn't fully open. I asked about this and was told it did open. Noone offered to come up and have a look. Room lovely but window and few other wear and tear issues brought it down and wouldn't expect that due to price. Also pillows were not quality I would have expected ....

Location stunning.Bed had a cheap matress and due to the floor, the bed sloped!Breakfast was very good but spoiled by poor quality sausages. Breakfast was at additional cost which was unexpected.

Comfortable hotel in a great location with views over the sea and parking at the rear. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good food, especially breakfast and a well stocked bar. Nice room with a comfortable bed and stylish bath. The hotel is in a pretty village that is still worth a visit out of season.

Bathroom was dated and showerhead not working

Staff were friendly, food was very good quality and well priced. Room was clean. Location was good and outdoor seating had excellent views, and heaters for the evenings.

Room was ok but the door was perhaps very warped, and required a body slam to get into the room and a massive slam to close and lock when leaving. The shower temperature was completely erratic, scalding to freezing at random. The room standard didn't meet the price tag in my opinion. The bar ran out of so many things during our two night stay. They had a large selection of ciders on tap but none were on, the stout was also off. They then ran out of the beer my partner settled on. They ran out of zinfandel, then the Gordon's pink gin I opted for. And at dinner they had run out of three of their desserts. It just seemed to keep happening.

Clean, tidy, well put together. Staff were nice, friendly and thoughtful.

Wifi wasn’t good in our room had to use mobile data to connect to laptop and use that to watch programmes as wifi from hotel wouldn’t connect to tv.

Before arrival I called the Mount Stewart to tell them that 1 of the guest is coeliac. They said they would be able to facilitate this via email. On arrival we reminded them that 1 of the party was again coeliac and they gave us gluten free menus. The evening meal was good. We also booked our breakfast with the same staff that took our dinner order. On arrival at breakfast we ask what the GF options were. There was no cereal and very little that my friend could eat breakfast wise. I was disappointed with this as we had given enough notice. I have sent 2 emails to the Mount Stewart regards this issue and have not had a reply from either.

The staff were very friendly. The food was excellent.

The hotel was not very warm, however the weather was very cold. Small things need work in the room. Toilet seat broken, unable to fill bathroom sink as plug did not fit. Table in room unstable and very wobbly.

The staff and decor was excellent. The staff also tried there best for us.

The room was cold wall heater didn't work one small oil radiator was in the room but didn't help. A second d electric radiator was brought to the room but it helped a little. Bathroom very cold and lacked shelves. Towel heater didn't work no other heating in bathroom.

Rooms were lovely and clean, very comfortable. Food was beautiful and fresh. Great breakfast. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Standard of rooms has dropped dramatically, not worth what they charge. I did email hotel after our stay to state our views before submitting review, they have never replied.
