- The room was large, but tired. To be fair we didn’t complain or ask to change rooms it was clean and had amazing views. Just a tired room. The singles were still connected as one super king, but that was fine. They were comfy, but pillows were very poorHad a great stay and if the room was perfect it would have cosy a lot more so not really complaining
- Beautiful grounds and the communal spaces are lovely.
- Location is stunning, hotel is very clean, staff where excellent, facilities amazing, food, very nice ... Will be booking again
Cons -
- A very appalling experience, reception staff not very friendly. Food was poor quality. Painting outside the room which was dirty especially the bathroom & the cleaning supervisor was offended when I pointed out all the shaved hair in the sink & bathroom.

- Bedrooms were dated as was the spa. Very small and seemed dirty with not enough staff.

Minor critique, I didn't have ironing facilities in my room, obviously most guests are here for Spa days, I stopped here for work and couldn't iron a shirt, lucky for me, I always have 2 emergency ironed shirts in my car in case of spillage!
Very hard to pick anything nice - even the flowers looked poor .The breakfast was poor , food limited choices , potatoes were black inside , dining room not clean and needs fully cleaned as dust and dirt very visible - curtains linings black with mould.
The manager Rod very poor customer service when you can find staff to speak too - his appearance lacked any care wearing jeans and trainers and did not to hear of my complaints - reduced price a bit and that was still very poor way to treat guests -- very dismissive of me and could not give any eye contact to me for rest of stay - i wish i did not book this resort to stay in. rooms have alot of mould - rooms 53 and 54 not fit for purpose - stains of dirt and blood on linings of chairs (remove cushions to see such poor cleaning) . The sofas and chairs had torn leather the lamps never bee cleaned the carpets very stained ,the bathroom shower doors not correctly fitted. very poor room cleaning and upkeep of furniture - DO NOT STAY in this spa and it not worth the money - the holiday Inn is cleaner and the staff would have better customer service .in the terrace bar -i ordered food and drinks and was with company at the table in conservation when the lady working there during day was extremely ignorant and showed poor service demanding payment during eating at the table before they bring rest of food /drinks .
Surpassed all expectations. The most impressive welcome / check in I have experienced. And the outdoor jacuzzi was a highlight! Food was excellent!
If I had to choose something I would say that the accommodation was a little basic and overall decor in need of some upkeep. It didn’t affect our stay though. Loved it.
Outstanding customer service. Amazing spa facilities. Definitely, I will be coming back.
It was a bit tricky to find it but otherwise great experience.
Setting was nice
The spa was way too small for the amount of people staying. Breakfast was poor.
Lunch, dinner and Breakfast were good however my husband could only have toast and cereal for breakfast as he didn’t like any of the hot options, which were rice, scrambled eggs and tinned tomatoes. I know it’s a health spa but maybe offer poached eggs or beans to be able to have on toast.
Tables in restaurants are worn and scratched so either table cloths or repainted. Service in the cafe was quite slow. We waited for at least 10 minutes for a coffee.
The spa was a lovely experience very big to accommodate quite a few guests without being overcrowded. Beautiful outdoor space. The restaurant was lovely. Amazing food and well presented. My facial was also sublime the staff in the 3s clinic weee professional and advised me on the perfect treatment for my needs.
Very slow service at reception. Reception rarely answers the phone. My bedroom was quite a long walk away from The spa and reception. When I arrived I waited at least 10 minutes to be seen. On receiving my card I was advised not to let it near the phone as it could damage the card. I ensured I put my phone away, there were no porters to help carry my luggage so I had a long walk to my room which was difficult to find with very few signs to guide. As I reached my room, my card did not work. Luckily the cleaner let me into my room. I then had to go back to reception to get another card. There is also no way to contact the restaurant which is quite a walk away. I also was greeted in my room by 2 large sized beetles. I wasn’t afraid but not very impressed. And the level of cleanliness was not quite up to my usual standard. Just as an observation
the out door green area was lovely
staff where rude when asking for help. my robe I was given in the room had make up on it. the spa was abit dirty. there was no towels the day I arrived for hours. breakfast was terrible
It was acceptable but tired.
Coffee requested, Flat White, at the known additional expense, was very poor. Breakfast was OK, just not inspiring
The location and grounds are beautiful. The spa facilities are very nice and the room was a good size.
The room was a bit dated with some wall paper/paint peeling off in parts of the bathroom. Parts of the spa were a bit dirty at times - there was a robe tie in the sauna for the entire duration of my stay.
Great treatments and spa facilities along with tranquil and idyllic grounds
Some of the rooms need modernising and upkeeping
Lovely building.Exceptional spaSuper breakfast Lovely staff
Would be wonderful if there could be an outdoor pool
Won’t go back again
Our room was very over priced uncomfortable bed. Dirty bathroom. Very dated.
Pool was good
Room was not very clean regards carpets, bathroom. Lack of info in room about facilities available.
The grounds. The staff at champneys college at the bottom of the drive.
Breakfast selection has been reduced dramatically not worth the price. More like a continental breakfast better at the travelodge. Rooms are old fashioned - a nightmare on the 2nd night of people banging doors till after 1pm. No response when calling to reception.
Location and grounds, size of room. Staff are friendly and breakfast buffet is lovely and healthy. Gym facilities are excellent
Rooms are tired and very dated. Furniture handles loose, bathrooms grubby, double bed is just two singles pushed together so really uncomfortable. Sauna out of order for the two nights stayed.
The facilaty was really nice and outdoor was lovely
Food options not great and i had to pay extra for facility even though i booked mh check in at 1 and they said we werent allowed to use til 5 which was annoying but one other lady helped us and moved our room quicker but we had to pay for facility use so overall it was really expensive
