The hotel is beautiful and set in a stunning location. The gardens and lounge were especially nice to relax in. We greatly enjoyed the fire greeting us in the entrance hall each evening.

We stayed in the rafters suite, which in itself is a stunning room. The only fault I have for it is that the mattress on the bed is two singles pushed together rather than an entire double mattress. This was slightly uncomfortable during the night as they would come apart slightly. Breakfast was a little slow but when the food arrived it was very nice.

The food was very disappointing, especially given the nature of the property and location. Nicely presented but bland, though my main course (steak) was ok. Fruit salad for breakfast was badly prepared with pinapple cores and soggy fruit. No hairdryer in the room

Location and cleanliness were brilliant; very close to local pubs & restaurants. Rooms were excellent.

Bar was pretty pricey and the room value wasn’t what expected. Small things like not being informed about WiFi, TV in the room had no ability to plug in fire stick etc. King/Queen bed was 2 singles pushed together.

Beautiful Manor. Very clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were wonderful and dinner was excellent. Had the pan fried salmon. Breakfast amazing with a lot to choose from.

Staff very welcoming at this characterful hotel. Bedroom, with view across the garden and countryside beyond, was well appointed and very clean. Generous provision of refreshments and toiletries. Plenty options for breakfast. Well maintained gardens. Comfortable bed. Plenty parking space.

Breakfast service staff were very pleasant, lots of choice, although service a bit slow for cooked breakfasts. Not a problem if you're not in a rush.

I have stayed a long time ago at The Falcon so was interested to see how it was now. It was much the same as far as I can remember. Nice airy room that was very comfortable

There was a slight drain smell in the bathroom and the shower screen was a little short as water went everywhere. But, we were only there one night so was fine.

Fabulous bedroom and garden. Food was great and most of the staff were knowledgeable , friendly and attentive .

Some staff needed a little more training , maybe they were new. Chef seemed to be a little bit economical with vegetables on the main meals. Maybe offer extra vegetables as an option .

Comfortable bed, friendly accommodating staff. Good breakfast.

Hand pulled beers tasted vinegary, so either not kept well, or pipes not flushed properly.

Great location for walking clean comfortable rooms parking on site

My only criticism would be breakfast lukewarm despite waiting quite a while, poached eggs for egg Benedict were hard boiled

Couldn’t open window so room was hot and airless so had to use the fan

Peaceful and welcoming. The old dog loved it too. Good breakfast and the fish & chips are highly recommended. The Sunday roasts looked excellent also.

Room was cold on arrival, but soon sorted. Cheeseboard was the only disappointment food wise. All else up to the mark.

Perfect location, the property is fantastic and perfect for a trip to the dales. Settle is a lovely town

The only comment I would make is that there aren’t enough power sockets. The ones that are there are behind tables and cupboards!

The location was beautiful.

• I had to wait half an hour to be checked into my room.• I was waiting an hour for my food in the restaurant and the chef said he ‘forgot my ticket’ which was a blatant lie considering I was the only person in the restaurant.• Cups were dirty.• Carpet was stained. • Contacted the hotel directly and got ignored!

Beautiful hotel in good location if like us travelling to scotland so mid point stay. Good breakfast and evening meal

Beautiful place to stay. The grounds are lovely and it's an easy walk into Settle. Great staff. Amazing food and dog friendly.
