Friendly welcome. Cosy fires.
Stair carpet looking worn.
The location of the Fell is exceptional with gorgeous views all around. It is conveniently located near many quaint towns of which can be visited easily. The helpful staff were friendly and accommodating. Our dinner’s presentation was beyond compare and delicious. We highly recommend the restaurant.
The temperature outside was warm during the day, which impacted the temperature of our room at times.
Location location location Good breakfastHelpful & friendly staff
Stairs to second floor with bags, could do with young staff to help Whilst food was very good, no chutney with cheese! Only joking but it was odd not to have any.
Fantastic breakfast choiceHelpful, friendly staffGreat base for exploringDog friendly
Nothing really
Exceptional staff lovely hotel especially the view when having your breakfast Staff couldn’t do enough for you
Shower poor
Lovely location, overlooking the village, bridge and river. Staff are ever-helpful and friendly. Room was clean, and bed very comfortable. Dinner was really good, as was breakfast. Definitely a place to revisit.
Breakfast was superb. One of the best cooked breakfasts i have ever had. A thing to behold !
A cocktail menu would be a nice thing to have. The barman was excellent though and managed to make what we requested
Location, views, lovely room, great staff, lovely dining room, one of my fav places to stay, you also get to use the spa down the road!
Nothing much, if super picky maybe the mattresses were a bit squishy
The location is stunning
I didn’t think it was clean enough (lots of cobwebs on the windows). Also, inside the mirror on the desk/dressing table, it hadn’t been cleaned.
Fantastic location. Excellent, hard-working and extremely helpful staff. Good food. Clean and comfortable rooms.
No lift .Although very good thought it was a bit pricey.
Beautiful location very clean and comfortable room . Staff very attentive good meals . Relaxing place to stay
Loved the location, staff were really friendly and the food was excellent!
Location was fantastic with great views, nice sized bar with good seating both inside and out, all staff were very efficient but not pushy.
Rooms a little on the warm side for me, however, the hotel did provide a fan if required. Our room was a dual aspect room with great views from both windows. Breakfast was excellent! Evening meal was also very nice, book a table prior to arriving as our time at the hotel was busier than expected.
Very comfortable room with a wonderful view, Restaurant food was excellent and the cooked breakfast was obviously high quality. My gluten free requirements were well provided for although an additional g/f main course would have been ideal for a three night stay. Decor is very relaxing.
Disappointed not to have had the bath I requested when booking.

Overall a nice hotel in a lovely location.
The room was not very clean - dust and a few cobwebs. The wardrobe also had an old, musty smell.
Perfect location with great walks local to the area. Clean comfy rooms with a good breakfast
Asked for poached eggs one morning and they only gave me one which felt a bit tight for the price we’d paid
