Great location, free parking, quiet location. Friendly reception staff

Nothing really. If had to pick something would say it could do with an upgrade-rooms are a bit dated

The staff were amazing ....so attentive and polite

Maybe a wee bit tired looking in our room....but there again good value

The staff on reception were so helpful in amending my booking mistake, the room and bathroom were very clean, the breakfast was great and free parking

    closeness to Livingston outlet stores

bit shabby in the maintenance area - carpet could do with replacing in bedroombit more training of bar staff - overcharged twice

    6TinaPosted on: 12-3-2025

The staff are helpful and welcoming, especially during check-in and when we needed help with setting the heater in our room.We like the cosy fireplace by the reception. We also like the proximity to the shopping area such as the designer outlets. We also liked that we had everything basic we needed to be comfortable for one night.

The carpet in the room looked and felt dirty.Once you leave the reception, the rest of the interiors, including the corridors, are dated and looked dilapidated. The bedroom is very dated. The pillows are either lumpy hard or lumpy soft.

Huge bed, room was very well maintained & clean.

    8AlicePosted on: 12-2-2025

Location was perfect for our needs

Bit dated - moved single bed next to double bed as there was 3 of us and grandaughter wanted in middle so once I moved bed you could see all the dust where it’s not been hoovered in a while however it didn’t matter as we had a nice stay

Perfect location, if you want to visit Livingston Shopping centre. Clean and comfortable bed.

Noisy radiator in the room, could not sleep as it was making noises every time it went on. Water tap would not switch off, water kept dripping. Room needs to be re-painted, carpets changed. Staff did not ask what we wanted for cooked breakfast, came out with the standard hot breakfast plate. We didn't want some of the breakfast items, but nobody has asked.

Nice clean hotel. Room was clean and bed was comfortable.15/20 min walk was a retail park with a food court and Asda 5/10 min walk. The hotel served food I just never ate in.

Nothing to not like at work all day somewhere warm and comfortable to get your head down at night after a few beers in the bar.

    The hotel feels tired.

    Location & Price

Issues with key card. Had to be resent on 4 occasions. Information unclear on dinner deals.

The staff were very efficient and friendly the rooms were very comfortable

I was only staying 1night and found nothing to complain about

    4LewisPosted on: 11-27-2025

Bed was comfy. Thats it. Stayed for 1 night, but so expensive and not really worth it.

Room was far too hot. Turned the heaters off and it was still roasting. The little fan in the room sounded like a jet engine and couldnt open the windows. The shower was far too hot, turn the cold tap slightly and it went freezing cold. The room was very nice but so expensive for 1 night. Staff were lovely. Supplies in the room, toilet paper etc were half filled, for example the tissue paper in bathroom had a neat piece folded so it looked full but was completely empty.

Excellent attitude at reception . The room was lovely and warm on arrival. The food in the restaurant whilst a simple enough menu was great . The meal was piping hot with excellent fries served on a hot plate . This has got to be one of the most personable hotel teams in the country .

Close to shopping centre, good breakfast options.Pleasant and friendly staff

Couldn't connect to internet. Had to use phone as hotspotWas frozen after being outside despite turning up radiator. Thought make use of the bath to heat up but they've altered taps so shower is only option. Unable to alter shower head to preferable height and angle.Had to use spare bath towel as a draft excluder at bottom of door also

Great location, lovely staff and good rates.
