Breakfast was ok, evening meal was under par. Restaurant was cold and drafty.

Check-in was really easy, and the young man at the front desk was very friendly.

The restaurant staff seemed like they were overworked or understaffed even though they didn't seem to be very busy when we were there. It took a long time to get waited on.

The place was comfortable, and clean. The restaurant staff was very kind when asked to provide ice/ cutlery and plates when needed to eat our carry out food. Chris, who was working at the front desk was very helpful with our questions( looking for a pharmacy who could help as my mom was not feeling to well), patient and kind. Thanks Chris for your help, greatly appreciated!

It could be a little noisy during the night, had windows open because it was unseasonably warm. Floor fans would be helpful if the weather is warm.

- No electric sockets at the bed, had to unplug the fridge, to get access to one.- no ventilation, so room was hot and also air was getting depleted of air (waked my up several times) - when opening the windows would let an army of flies in (no plastic barrier in the room to keep them out).

I made the booking for my parents, as they were marking their 55th Wedding Anniversary and Dad's 80th birthday. Staff communication prior to their visit was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they assured me my parents would be well looked after during their stay. This promise was met and exceeded. Mum and Dad have returned home today and couldn't compliment the stay and all aspects of their stay enough. A lovely, spacious room, with unsuite to suit their needs; a fabulous fruit platter upon arrival; friendly, attentive and dedicated staff who knew exactly who they were and made them feel so valued; a great restaurant where they ate each night with delicious food, which was very reasonably priced; a huge choice for breakfast with food made to order....even a birthday cake for Dad on the day, when staff sang and congratulated him. I suspect there are more areas of praise than this as I only saw them briefly to take them home from the airport today but they said they'd had a fabulous stay. For my part, I felt reassured from the moment I booked that I had picked the right accommodation. I've never received so much care and attention with a booking and can't thank the staff enough for giving my parents the wonderful time away they so deserved. I only wish I'd been there too! ?

Mum & Dad only had praise. The one, tiny thing, was his asking for strong coffee every morning. He said it was fine but could have been stronger. Before checking out his morning, he asked for "Really strong coffee". Dad loves it strong and said he got exactly what he asked for - it was as black as tar and the strongest cup of coffee he's ever had! ?

Nice, clean room, very friendly staff, great Scottish breakfast. Great hub to drive around with free parking. Less than 0.5 h to both Edinburgh and Glasgow

WiFi in the room was very slow

Comfortable. Modern and easy to navigate.

Lack of air conditioning- rooms could get a little stuffy during the night. Beds were a little short, though comfortable. Not ideal for a taller person.

Always enjoy stay, good price, excellent breakfast

No lift, feel embarrassed to ask for help

The staff are the highlight of the whole experience for me, exceptionally lovely people who go above and beyond. The event halls, garden, reception, and restaurant are absolutely lovely as well such a well kept hotel

The room we had was quite underwhelming for the price, no curtains so looked bare, very small, the bed was quite lumpy & the pillows solid as a rock, there's a huge gap under the door so all the hallway light seeps into the room at night, and the extraction fan in the bathroom didn't seem to do much so by the time you get out the shower you're short on air

3rd stay here and love it, great wee place clean and comfy

Staff and management not good... housekeeping facilities very poor... overall very bed experience... not impress with staff.... very lazy people working there....

It was very clean amazing value for the money. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The bath was lovely and deep. Water pressure was great.

The water in the rooms wasn’t drinking water.

Excellent hotel, staff very friendly, rooms are spacious, beds comfy, very clean, has everything you need, restaurant food very nice.

All the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help. We are in the hotel one night and had breakfast both mornings of our stay and the food was lovely. We were spending time in Falkirk and Edinburgh during our stay and the location of the hotel was perfect for getting to and from each.

Larger rooms were in part of hotel yet not refurbished and could not have rooms close together

A comfortable stopover on a long journey. Booked a room with a king size bed. Large room, comfortable bed, kettle with tea and coffee. Bathroom well equipped. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very poor and not very tasty breakfasts. The lady serving should be nicer and at least smile a little.

TV wouldn't only work via remote had to use TV buttons, bed and pillows too hard, breakfast burnt didnt get my cup of tea even though i was asked if i wanted one. asked if there was a local pub and was advised not to go as its dodgy.

Staff were friendly and eager to help. There was a wedding on when we arrived did not spoil our visit because we never heard anything....Very clean and excellent food....
