- I loved everything about this hotel.
- The service in the restaurant was slow, we had to wait a long time for our meal even though the restaurant was not busy. The food was very good though.

Easy to find on Main Street, easy late check in , lovely staff. Even offered to carry my case to the room. Would definitely return.
Nothing it was great.
Friendly staff, amazing breakfast, great location
I paid for a large deluxe room and was given a small standard room. The accomodation is in a very busy, noisy pub and party venue. The room was nice but small and not what I paid for. The premises was noisy and busy. The staff were lovely and very understanding. We left and they told me Booking.com would give me a refund but I haven't heard anything from you.
Please see above.
The fact it was in a pub . The breakfast was absolutely outstanding ? . The shower was the best ever
It was noisy but as soon as 10pm struck it was quiet as a mouse , no matt for getting out of shower so floor got very wet but other than that....Would definitely stay again ❤️
My 4th stay here and it’s always fab. The breakfast server (I didn’t get his name) is a ray of sunshine and served us fabulous breakfasts both mornings. Ideal for a day at the races and we’ll be back next year.
Would have been nice to have some toiletries such as shower gel provided (there was a bar of hand soap). Walls are thin which I get can’t be changed but you can hear absolutely everything in the room next door.
Staff were all lovely, the old building is full of character, the breakfasts were great, decor charming.
The mattress in room 4 had a visible soft spot/broken springs.
Breakfast was ok but no fruit or yogurt.only orange juice no other choice if juiceService was slow from the time we ordered until we got it severed up
No shower gel or shampoo in shower .No water in the room We booked a double deluxe ,think that is normal accessories for that standard /price of a room
The staff were helpful
The room was small with one very small chair which meant one person had to sit on the bed.
The room was OK, comfortable and clean. Very nice bathroom and powerful shower
Short and simple, there were no toiletries provided, the staff suggested we pop over to Lidl to buy some. I've stayed in a lot of hotels, not found one that charges £75 a night and doesn't provide them. Even budget minded hotels like Premier Inn and Travelodge hotels do..
Room was beautifully decorated, cosy and welcoming.
The room was on the small side for a double, very little room for luggage. There was a dirty towel left in the bathroom from the previous guest, and the shower was dirty around the tray. You could see it washing away when the shower was on. The lighting in the bedroom was poor, and there was only one bedside table. The bed was also uncomfortable.I did look to complain but couldn't find any staff to speak to.
Nice location, close to restaurants and shops. Plenty of parking onsite for the rooms they have.
The mattress in room 4 is needing to be put in the skip. Had to enjoy a sore back all day afterwards. Also missed out on breakfast as it does not start until 8am, not ideal when needing to have an earlier start.
Lovely rooms
There is no mirror to put make up on.there was a mirror in bathroom and wardrobe. But I wear glasses and were to far away ....heating went off early in evening and it was a bit cold through night and early morning
Room was lovely and beds comfy. Everything you need for a night away. Staff are very helpful and the menu choices are great. Breakfast was excellent.
Sensor lights in the bathroom a bit too sensitive
Breakfast was good, member of staff polite, helpfulVenue was chosen because, my granddaughter was originally having her wedding reception there. (Was booked almost a year ago) just before wedding, venue was changed, wasn’t given a reason, New venue was close by, so kept booking of room.
Wasn’t able to do early check in, staff never even bothered to check if room was ready or not, just said checkin wasn’t till 2pm (arrived 11.30ish) reason for being there, was for g/daughters wedding at 1pm, and as said before, reception was originally at this venue, was changed, so would of made it difficult to check in later. As it happened, had another member of family booked in the day before, so was able to leave suitcase in there room, also he came back to house after meal at reception to return his car and get changed, was able to check in on my behalf. Transfer by bags to my room. No late reception policy at house. Reception did not finish till midnight. When I did get to my room, bedroom was very cold, bed felt damp, so in my impression, room had been vacant for a while, I personally have worked in hospitality for over 30yrs, and as there were no staff around, late that night, couldn’t report it, no one around in morning to give key to on checkout, still not able to report issues, key was given to a cleaner. (Room very small and basic for cost charged)
Very good hotel , small in size but big in stature , staff very friendly lots going on in hotel and grand cooked breakfast with plenty choice ,
Tad expensive for the room size ,
Breakfast was good
this was January in Scotland and we were in a room with two radiators over which we had no control. The room was freezing through the night with the heat being controlled from an external source, and when I say controlled I mean turned off. It spoilt the night. There was also a used bath towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door when we arrived which was not good. Penny Pinching at expense of clients comfort. We followed this stay up with 3 nights in a different hotel where room heating was controlled by ourselves and the difference was amazing. We were comfortable throughout this stay.We would not return to this hotel.
Breakfast there was a good choice and friendly staff.Room was very clean and good location near shops, pubs, transport.
It was not at all warm in the bedroom, had to wear several layers of clothes to bed.
