everything couldn't fault hotel, food, staff and spa was amazing

Had a really great stay. The suite was amazing! Staff were really helpful.

It was a rainy day and you couldn’t just walk up to the pool and leisure facilities.

The staff are great and very kind.

Would have preferred to have chosen breakfast from a menu and not had a self-service buffet

The staff didn’t know the information and give us wrong times for the swimming for the Children and they missed it due to wrong information given , twice. There was no bed for the child.

Really lovely staff who are welcoming and helpful. Rooms good and food excellent. The spa is an extra treat worth including in a stay. A great experience. Thanks!

Lovely food and room ? transport to and from Bertrams , especially Diddier the driver who was fabulous.

The service was fantastic, the lrisure facilities were good, the food was outstanding and the staff went out of their way to look after us

Staff and breakfast were great. Also, we had Xmas dinner in the restaurant that was a fantastic experience.

The rooms could do with a Mini-bar.

Just so comfortable, staff couldn't do enough, beautiful location for views, rooms have everything you need. Will always come back here.

There wasn't enough milk in the rooms. Once you had one drink you couldn't have another. Plenty tea bags etc though. Ps this is every hotel room, everywhere! This is the only thing I could find wrong !

Very clean, modern and had everything you needed.

Xmas party on till 1am, we were staying on the 1st floor so this kept us awake. No ear plugs either. Would have preferred to have been placed higher up, and further away or warned on check in. Getting a light bite to eat proved difficult, room service didn’t open till after 4pm and the lounge stopped servicing food at 3pm for a function. When room service did open, the person answering the phone didn’t really know what was going n, and kept having to ask people near them. We then tried calling back with an order and no one answered so gave up.

We booked the hotel on the understanding the spa was feee to use and then once we’d booked it turns out they have 2 spas and you have to pay quite a bit extra to use the nice spa they advertise. We chose not to stay in the end but they wouldn’t refund the payment so we paid over £250 for nothing

Great facilities, excellent service. Chauffeur driven Rolls Royce was an unexpected pleasure.

The breakfast was varied and delicious! The staff were very professional, extremely friendly and went above and beyond when asked for help.

For such a high-quality hotel, the coffee facilities could have been better - an investment in a proper coffee machine perhaps!

The room was spotless. We had a meal at the Wilfreds Restaurant, and i can honestly say that the food was outstanding. My wife and I both had the fillet steak and it was award winning. We didn't get chance to access the spa, but the swimming pool.was great.

The only downside was.that we had a bit of an issue with the noise in our room. It seemed that when someone flushed the chain in another hotel room or turned on the shower, we could hear it quite loud. It woke.me.up.a.couple.of.times.in the night.

Room - quiet and well appointed, and clean. Restaurant very nice.

"Crow Wood Hotel & Spa" The SPA isn't included in the price of the room, its separate and £85 per person, unless there is some advanced booking or a package deal, but you don't know that when booking (on booking.com). Also had £100 hold on credit card for "incidental charges". Sounds like ability to charge to the room for drinks ? NO, its in case you damage the room. I asked for the policy, there wasn't a policy. If I break a glass do you charge me ? blank look. Its in case you smoke in the room, so a cleaning charge. I said why don't you call it that ? ie "non-smoking cleaning deposit" ? no answer. THIS IS A REALLY ANNOYING "POLICY" OF SOME HOTELS TO TAKE YOUR MONEY FOR 5 DAYS FOR NOTHING. When you check out at 8am they don't go to your room and sniff for smoke - SO IF THEY AREN'T CHECKING WHY TAKE THE DEPOSIT ??

The quality of the cooked breakfast was excellent. All the staff were happy and smiling.

Breakfast could’ve done with more selection for example, a healthy cereal such as muesli and oat/almond milk. .
