We enjoyed everything from the staff to the room and breakfast in the mornong

Breakfast was excellent expect there was no toast as they said toaster was broken.

Television in room was not accessible to watch from bed.

Super comfortable bed and pillows, very accommodating staff, they seemed to go out of their way to make your visit special. The location is very good, close too the shops, bars and the beach. I feel with a little work on redecoration and promoting this hotel that they could raise their pricing.

I stayed for a total of two nights, the first room we had there was a slight odour in, like somebody had been smoking in the room and decoration was quite old-fashioned however I do believe this was reflected in the price as it was good value for money. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy the breakfast sausage or scrambled egg.

Very good breakfast2 good pillows were a bonus.Big bedroom with a wet room.Staff very friendly.

It was very near to the Winter Gardens.

Probably needs some updating but was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

I couldn’t fault this hotel. In my opinion, it feels more like a 4‑star than a 3‑star. The staff were very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Breakfast was good — everything you’d expect. On our last morning we had to leave early and didn’t need breakfast, but they kindly offered us a takeaway option, which I thought was very accommodating. Parking can be a bit hit‑and‑miss as there aren’t many spaces, but they arranged a spot for us in their overflow car park at the back.

There was nothing i didnt like. The only thing I would mention is that the room could have done with some fresh water in the room.

Location and relaxed atmosphere

The last in the evening on reception was rude towards guests who were just enjoying their evening and told them to stop their music which had actually filled the bar area for the first time in days

We come hear about 5 times a year. We have a caravan in Devon so its a half way stop. We have never complained before as everything was always good. But this time wow. Firstly I'm disabled so we had a disabled room everything looked great and very clean as usual. We went out for something to eat came back and went to bed god I had the shock of my life I nearly fell of the bed. The mattress was tilted which I thought. Lifted up and there were 2 sponges instead of a mattress. I had to take the 1 sponge out and sleep on the floor. Told the receptionist in the morning she could not believe it. Went for breakfast and the sausages were burnt tomatoes was the day befores bacon hard the egg and toast was lovely. The breakfast has always been nice. It's alright saying sorry about that. It's called the chef should not send bad stuff to s customer. Shame because we really like it there. And a few people can spoil it.
