Absolutely stunning hotel, happy relaxed atmosphere. Great staff. Great value for money. A+++++++

Fantastic stay, diner was great and the house red Merlot was really good. the breakfast needs a little work as i could have cooked better, but not bad.

The only down side was the outside Jacuzzi's could have been hotter, we couldnt use them. Aloso lots of foam in one of them which should have been sorted out. But apart from that it was a fantasic stay.

Main building is lovely.

Outbuildings and extended parts not as nice. Weird walk past kitchens to room.

The rooms were beautiful but stuffy and hot. The restaurant was ok but not excellent. Eg- service was slow, and steak was very mediocre at best.

Everything was great all the staff were fantastic and very friendly and eager to help if required. Food at the restaurant was amazing. Spa facilities were great.

The food and drinks were exceptional. We had afternoon tea, dinner in the Lounge Bar and the Garden Grill, all delicious. Breakfast was excellent too. We enjoyed our family room space, beds were very comfortable and portable radiator was so handy for the chilly December nights. The only hotel that has decent swim times for children and everything was very clean.

I found the spa very underwhelming. I didn't book any treatments but I found the indoor pool quite dark and it looked tired around the edges. The indoor jaccuzi wasn't hot and some of the jets were not working. The outside jacuzzi and little sauna hut were better. Service for afternoon tea was slow, the pots of tea arrived midway through the meal, which was frustrating. Someone did apologise but it was disapponting to the overall experience. I found the ambience and setting in the Lounge Bar far better than the Garden Grill restaurant.

TV remote didn’t work; toilet didn’t flush effectively; sink plug didn’t fit properly so water drained whilst shaving

The restaurant was nice and the food was good quality and nice wines and cocktails

The property was a rabbit warren and you had to walk through the kitchen serving area to get to the garden rooms. The kitchen closed for room service orders by 9.30pm and an omelette for breakfast was too much of an ask! The room was comfortable and okay not certainly not worthy of the £450 per night charge!

Absolutely unbelievable stay at this wonderful hotel. Everything was spotless and truly five-star throughout. The bed was long and incredibly comfortable — honestly, very similar to my own at home. The décor was immaculate, and I loved the little luxury touches (there was even a Dyson hairdryer in the room).The only small issue was that the in-room coffee machine (the Nespresso) wasn’t working — but aside from that, everything was absolutely amazing. The service was the best I’ve had in a long time, and the breakfast was unreal. Everything about theWe visited the spa the following morning and it was perfect — beautifully warm and so relaxing. It even had an outdoor jacuzzi and a sauna. I’d highly recommend it.The staff were beyond friendly, especially in the restaurant, and we’ll definitely be coming back.

Ladies toilet in the main house hard to find. Pool inside area not signposted well. Have to go toward gents changing area, then different door to inside Pool, I thought I was entering gents changing area

The whole hotel was welcoming and staff were attentive, friendly and most helpful.The accommodation Junior Suite - was comfortable, clean, spacious well presented and the bed and pillows were also very comfortable. Lovely view of courtyard with an array of beautiful flowers.Grounds well kept and the food was excellent absolutely pleased with the dishes I had superb chef.I will almost certainly return to stay in the wonderful hotel.

The architecture and interior design were fabulous. Lovely quiet gardens with masses of beautiful flowers. Tennis court a bonus. Every member of staff was cheerful, friendly, helpful and efficient. The restaurant was great and the food delicious. We loved the way breakfast was served, it made it very relaxing and enjoyable.

The grounds & spa facilities were amazing. We booked the Junior suite with hot tub and it did not disappoint. The staff always had a smile and were very welcoming. They went above and beyond for us & made our stay memorable. The food was delicious and all fresh produce, the steak & lamb were 5 stars+

Rooms are just simply wonderful. Probably as close to staying in a Royal bedroom ! Breakfast was presented superbly and tasted great. Sunny weather made the grounds most enjoyable. The outdoor pool was great. Dinner was enjoyable on the terrace.

Check in was uneventful, but would have expected someone ask if I am joining them for dinner, or what facilities are available to me (i was staying for 3/4 nights). Dinner staff were a little inexperienced and seemed lost when I heard a couple enquire about wines. Most were very pleasant, but product knownedge could be better.

the room was spectacular, the service was incredible they took incredible care of us as the restaurant to look after our dietary requirements and the facilities were terrific. Absolutely loved the spa and steam room!!!!
