Booking .com said breakfast was included but we were told the kitchen was shut down, no food available, should we get some refund. Cost another £25 to go get breakfast on top of the £99

Good size room. Close to where we needed to be.

No useful welcome pack in room with WiFi code or menus or meal times.

All staff friendly. Lovely warm welcome. A bottle of prosecco was in the room on arrival & a box of chocolates with the room decorated for valentines day as requested.

Internet, bedroom very simple, no food included.

Been lots of timed, good location and good jib they have someone there all night as our front door key didn't work.

Bed hard, not able to get onto WiFi, no information in the room, vent hanging off in the bathroom. We have stayed here lots but it's tired looking now.

Great location. Clean, good quality bed linen and towels. Plenty of hot water. Dog friendly.

Advertised as having food available but this was not the case.

Staff where friendly and very helpful, and location was ideal for our needs, room was warm and bed was comfy.

Very disappointed that they no longer serve food, and no mention at time of booking that food was not available anymore.

The George Inn was in a great central location next to the Abbey where I went to a concert , just a few yards to walk . Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The information said food was available but on arrival were told food is no longer served. The Inn still has menu advertised online so they need to update details.

Location is very good

I was in room 4 which is at the top of the stairs against the door , heard everyone who went in and noise from the pub on certain nights was disturbing.Lighting in the bathroom was very poor especially when shaving each morning.Loose light fitting on the side of the bed

Stayed here before and had breakfast included. Much nicer greeting and happier staff the time we stayed here before.

Close to Selby Abbey where Cathedral Music had its meeting. Clean and good value for money.

No breakfast or meals available though we knew this before we booked.

Bed comfy, fairly large room with on-suite

Tv would not work, I couldn’t get WiFi. Room itself needs re-decorating as bit dated and marks all up wallpaper. Walls very thin as I could hear when people were showering or using Loo also could hear snoring.

Very clean comfortable room, felt safe there as a lone female traveller. Central location near train station.

No longer do breakfast, but this didn't bother me as Im not a breakfast person. Plenty of places nearby to get some otherwise.

It was clean and quiet and a great price.

The room was absolutely freezing when we arrived. There was a plug in radiator provided but it took so long to heat up the room.It’s a shame as we had been travelling in the cold and rain and was looking forward to getting in to a cozy room.There was also a faff trying to log on to the internet which required two trips down to the bar to ask the staff. I welcome booklet with this info in would have helped.Also it was quite a dark room that could have done with an extra lamp.But for the price, it was fine.

We've stayed here lots times completely changed no breakfast available closed kitchen new owners room cold pub empty not like it used to be all staff looking miserable bedding grubby get your act together please was lovely before

Location perfect for the town of Selby also near bus and train stations

Very central, and cheap.

No food. No lounge with comfy seats. Our tv pixelated, and didn’t receive all channels.
