- Nothing, everything was good, thanks
- It was possible to hear the neighbouring room very clearly. I don't even think they were particularly noisy, but they didn't need to be.

Excellent B &B would highly recommend. Owners Trudi and Alan are very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. Very comfortable and clean twin room. Great choice for breakfast, scrambled eggs delicious! Have already booked 2nd visit.
Great breakfast, nice room, good location.
Nothing. It was all really nice.
Recommended by friends, couldn't fault it, accommodation was great and everything I'd expected from the recommendation. The owners were the perfect hosts, couldn't do enough for you. Breakfasts were fabulous too and set me up for the long days out I was there for. It's not right in the centre, but it was what I'd expected from the clear information that I had seen on the site and from the recommendation too. I also saw it as a positive, as it meant it was a little bit quieter than being in the middle of everything. The walk along to and from the venues I was using was flat and easy to navigate, with the obvious sea views and the promenade to enjoy. Car park round the back was great too, as well as roadside parking out the front of the Hotel on day of departure to make it easy for loading my luggage up.
Nothing to dislike at all. It was peaceful, relaxing and offered a warm friendly environment to rest after long and busy days at the events I was attending.
Nice welcome Very friendly Spotlessly clean Lovely breakfasts (proper poached eggs…perfect) Will definitely book again in future Thanks for pleasant stay
Stairs
Trudi & Alan are brilliant hosts and very meticulous in what they do to keep the hotel in top condition.Breakfast is a brilliant play on an English Breakfast and it works as other guests said as well.Plenty of parking as the hotel has its own car park as well as being able to park on the street at the front of it (space permitting).
The trek up the stairs to the top room but knew about it before we arrived. Remembering to duck went getting out of bed on the window side.
Breakfast was so good ..filled you up for hour's..I had the single room with a balcony..lovely hearing the sea ....room was so clean ..owners so friendly and couldn't do enough for you
No complaints from me
Great location, friendly and accommodating hosts, very clean room and comfortable bed. Great choice of fruit at breakfast, lovely porridge. scrambled eggs and smashed avocado also excellent. View from the room was great. Bus stop very close and 755 goes to Kendal and Windermere
The setup of the room and the cleanliness of the hotel were really good. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly too, and you feel at ease to communicate with them! The breakfast was good, and my son really enjoyed the scrambled egg on the muffin with bacon strips! The hosts made sure we were happy throughout our stay. Therefore, we would recommend this hotel !
We would have loved at least a full English breakfast on one of the mornings... but everything was well presented and nice. Overall, there was nothing to complain about.
Just checked out today after spending 2 nights here for the first time in the Irish Sea room. I would highly recommend this room as the views of the beach and mountains are absolutely stunning! The hotel itself was inviting and clean on arrival, and the room was incredibly clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. There is a kettle, coffee, tea bags, and biscuits in the room and an iron and ironing board. There is a TV too. There is no fridge in the room, but there is a fridge downstairs where you can help yourself to milk as needed. The shower was lovely and powerful, with plenty of hot water, and there are shower gels, hand wash etc in the bathroom. The hosts were really lovely and friendly, and we had a lovely breakfast this morning. There are various hot and cold options to choose from, so something for everyone. We found it to be extremely good value for money, and we are glad we chose this hotel and would absolutely stay here again in the future.Thank you..From Laura and Adam
There is nothing we didn't like ☺️
The shipping lanes hotel is ideal for that short city break. Fantastic location right outside the beach! A few minutes walk to pubs and restaurants. Views of the bay and sea right from your window. The hosts are incredibly hospitable and very friendly.
We were greeted in a friendly manner. The hotel is one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in and the decor tastefully done. The breakfast was amazing.Would highly recommend, the bonus being secure parking.
Couldn't fault anything
The proprietors Trudi & Alan are a really friendly couple who are willing to offer you help and information relating to the venue and surrounding areas. Alan's initial welcome was like he was inviting you me to stay in his home, not just a B&B.The room I chose "Trafalgar" had a sea view, its own balcony & arm chairs located in the bay window overlooking the bay, perfect for watching the sun go down. The room has all the things that you would expect (with plenty of socket outlets) & makes for a comfortable stay, there is even miniature fresh milk bottles available in a fridge at the bottom of the stairs (nice touch).Parking is plentiful & free & is right on the seafront outside the property.
This is an extremely petty gripe, ordering of breakfast (hot food) must be done the day before, but to be fair to Alan & Trudi it was extremely nice and very well presented, however the menu is limited (No full English)
Clean comfortable with friendly and helpful staff there was a nice homely atmosphere in the hotel certainly a relaxing environment
If anything the bath was small in our room but not a major problem as the shower was good with plenty hot water
Felt really homely and felt so relaxed with our dog. Trudy and Alan were very good hosts. Breakfast was good too.
Friendly and welcoming hostsSuper comfy bedsLovely room, peaceful, spotlessly clean and freshly decoratedGreat location, easy to park nearby
Great breakfast. Not too big for the cooked part. Fresh fruit appreciated.Lovely view from the room.
Would have preferred fewer stairs.
Location was excellent, well within walking distance of Morecambe centre. We had the room with the balcony overlooking the bay, great to sit out and enjoy the view.
