The Auckland Hotel

The staff were very friendly. The room was really nice. The evening meal and breakfast were very good.The bed was very comfy.

Everything was fine as it was.

£12 for breakfast is a little steep compared to local pubs, supermarkets etc.

Nice hotel,great location.

There was no heating on in room and it was cold and bedding damp. Staff should ensure this is on and working before guests arrive. Unfortunately it was 11.30 pm after a very hectic day so had to tolerate it

No parking spaces, quite old rooms, smallest bathroom.

Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Your room was next to the main door to the corridor, and we were awake every time it was opened. The shower room was cold and the heater did not work.

The room was fine for 1 night , but more nights not big enough for 3 adults .

No Sockets near the dressing table , the covers over the bases of the bed very torn & don't look good .

Good breakfast and meal in the restaurant in the evening.Staff friendly and helpful.

The twin beds were very uncomfortable I felt like mine was sloping to one side!

The communal areas were bright fresh clean. Staff were polite and friendly.It’s got parking.

The bathroom for my room wasn’t clean, seriously unclean..

Friendly staff, great location, lovely clean room with a sea view. We both had a lovely stay.

Comfort, relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, good food. This hotel was chosen by one of our group, while I was staying at the hotel with another group, who have already booked for March 2026.

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. There were plenty of places to sit and chat and a good bar.

I think the breakfast could have been included in the price.

What lovely friendly people! Excellent service very attentive would definitely come here again. We came to drop my daughter off at university. I'll probably stay here for the night when I come up and see her next time.

There's nothing I didn't like about this lovely hotel I could not fault it
