Village Hotel Warrington

The ambiance was very nice. The facilities were excellent.

The heating was not working in room 114. It appears to be known to management and yet it has not been repaired. Quite disappointing.

Right location

£159 for room seemed expensive. I had thought breakfast was included and it wasn’t.. ..sport and leisure facilities seemed a bit tired in need of refresh

The bar/restaurant. We sat down for food but decided to leave as the DJ was ridiculously loud! We left and went to a neighbouring pub

The room itself was clean and reasonably well presented. The bed was comfortable and check-in was straightforward. Staff were polite during interactions.

There was persistent late-night banging noise caused by fire doors slamming throughout the night. The noise was disruptive and significantly affected sleep quality. Despite the room being otherwise acceptable, the constant disturbance made the stay uncomfortable.

Accommodation was clean, tidy and all we needed. Room was large enough, with good tv, tea making kit and decent shower. Location is good in relation to town centre, with good access.

Nowhere on the front page of their website does it mention loud music and some rooms being directly above this. Even in the party section, it don't mention what time this could be going onto. A quick question when booking 'would you like a quiet room' would be very useful. Also there was some humming noise on and off at all times, some annoying box on the ceiling that constantly flashed and why does a sink in the bathroom have such a stupid tap, which just constantly leaked

Room was cold, no matter what I did with the heating.

Location was not far from train station & town.Liked the pool,sauna,steam room,jacuzzi.Bed was comfy.tv was a great size.

Air con didn't work properly after our first night,so just used heayer provided.Pool was restricted when aqua arobics were in session.Shower head needs descaling as only 3/4 of the head flowed properly,table top was peeling/lifting off.

This hotel is ideally located for anything that needs to be done in Warrington town centre.

Self check-in. The decor. The price - £164 for a night in Warrington! Wish I hadn't booked it through booking.com as it added a level of complication to proceedings I hadn't envisaged.

very clean and staff great. the room was a good size with a large modern tv . bathroom was great with good soaps, shampoos . food was excellent .

We have been to this hotel a few times and always enjoy ourselves .The room was amazing .Staff excellent it was my sisters birthday and they put balloons and presseco in the room as a surprise .Amazing xxxxx

Easy parking and location.... bathroom

Cold room.. ... thermostat did not seem to work.Plug in heater in the room suggests heating issues. Request for a blanket took ages and only offered a King size duvet to fit a single bed. Flashing light on ceiling disturbed sleep. Why no phone to reception?

There were lots of drunk and shouting people that kept me awake after a long journey.

Room needed a little bit of attention. Paint chipped and in place paint peeling. Also this is the second time we have stayed and there was a party night on so bar was busy and loud. When we got back after going out for dinner there were a few drunk loud people and the police had been called due to an incident. However the staff were fantastic and reassured people

The room was a family room for 3, but only 2 cups in the room ?. Tad difficult getting the lamps to work . Nothing in the room to say what time breakfast was served . We just made it in time at 9.15 , as we were told they were going to clear away the food. Having said all this I would visit again it really is a nice hotel .

Rooms were really really cold even with the heater on. Toilets downstairs smelt really strongly of urine

Hotel was lovely. Paid extra £5 prior to arrival as add on along with the food discount deal. Food was lovely. Staff lovely and polite. Pool lovely and warm. Room lovely and comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay
