Staff were really friendly, room was lovely and warm. Beautifully clean room.

Only one shower gel packet for two people, bed was terrible, mattress was as thin as paper and the cushions were even worse

Parking was free, room was warm and it was quiet and dogs were allowed.

Their was a kettle in the room but no cups or tea/ coffee items.The pull out mattress on the sofa was heavily stained and grubby and stained cushions alsoTheir was no sanitary bags in the bathroom - it was empty.Overall room was grubby.

Easy free parking, McDonald’s and Greggs on premises

No restaurant on site or pub to have a couple of pints

To be avoided in winter...

Cold room with no heating working. Night manager lent me his own personal portable heater. Has to go and purchse shower gel from the shop as one tiny satchet of generic shower gel would not have been sufficient to wash my hands with so a shower would be definitely out of the question. Kettle provided in the room but no tea or coffee, in fact there were no cups or spoons either....just a kettle. At £68/night i knew it would be basic lastminute accomodation but never again :-(

The lady at the front desk was so lovely and polite.

Strong smell of Weed, kept you up all night, lingered throughout the property. Beds were extremely uncomfortable, pillows extremely thin, curtains let through all the light of the lamp posts outside. Toilets didn’t flush. Not the best stay.

More sleep would have been...

Really noisy guests with shouting and banging in middle of night. Not dealt with by staff.

Nice clean hotel. Was great for one night.

We asked for a double bed and two single. We were provided with a double bed and a pull out settee which is fine but it was very uncomfortable, for two boys 11 and 13 was a bit of a squeeze. We ended up having the youngest in with us because they couldn't fit. Ages were asked at booking too but it did the job for the night. Dog friendly too.

Expected little and was still...

The facilities were basic, tired, stained, the mattress was the worst thing I have ever attempted to sleep on, I would of been more comfortable on the floor as I wouldn't of had spring digging in me all night

Leak and rusty water on bathroom floor.Shower did not shut off properly and made a high pitch whistling noise during the night.Towel Rail hanging off wall.Grout and tiling very dirty around bath.There was a kettle but no cups and no tea / coffee sachets.No remote for TV - had to get one from reception.Bed very uncomfortable - mattress had and could feel every spring in my back. No mattress topper.Overall a horrendous stay and I won't be returning.

Not much

First of all the room was extremely cold and the bedding insufficient so I slept in my clothes. My main point is, don't allow yourselves to be allocated room 1! It is right next to reception and there is 24 hour Macdonalds literally outside the door. Constant coming and going and shouting until 2.30am. And a hallway door outside the room which slammed every time it was used (how hard is it to put some felt on it to stop the banging!). It was also expensive for what was on offer.

Hard beds. Room was clean, but could do with a deep clean and needs to be updated furnishing wise.

Conveniently located at the services with an array of shops/ fast food and also a shop that is open 24/7. Clean and well maintained.

The beds aren't very comfortable. The mattresses are very hard.

TV didn't work too well

Easy access to motorway. Clean throughout.

No hair dryer ( states on facilities list that there is ). No iron ( states on facilities list there is ). Only 1 sachet of shower gel and 1 sachet of shampoo between 2 people. Garden view was a six foot hedge.

Good location and facilities

Floors in rooms were slippery

Person on check in desk was very helpful amd lovely to chat with. Helped with an issue I had with the kettle.
