staff were fantastic and the facilities are better than most hotels in the area.

It was noisy at night, especially with the window open as there is no air con. My room was over an outside bar area so noise and cigarette smoke were a bit of a problem. Next time I'll ask for a different room

It was clean, convenient for visiting Gullivers and the staff were nice and very understanding of my autistic son. They were also happy to answer any questions. Had a good nights sleep as was quiet and comfortable and enjoyed the breakfast. Children’s play room and outdoor play area was good

Warm welcome by friendly and helpful staff. Food good. Room comfortable.

    8Anne-mariePosted on: 12-8-2025

It was right near to the theme park and not too far away from restaurants / local amenities

They only supplied filled rolls for breakfast so we are elsewhere. It was also a very basic dinner menu so we went to a local Italian for food

Breakfast, kids bedroom with TV exceptionalMain bedroom and. Bed very comfortable tea making facilities spot on

No hairdryer caught us outBath waste trap blockage needs cleaning as water was incredibly slow to drain

Friendly, comfortable, clean room although wear to the furniture and bed was a bit ruff overall good

Food and coffee, the burger was like 15 and was advertised as a QTR pounder, certainly wasn't more flat market/pound shop burger really poor bland and half was rock hard and when ask why it wasn't eaten just a simple o sorry and taken away, the same with the sausage on the breakfast certainly not worth 12 the bacon eggs all good but again pound shop sausage really poor and to add to that the coffee was mild warm and served half mugs at £3.50 a coffee!!

Night staff were very helpful we booked and arrived late after being let down by other accommodation

Replacement caravan was very modern and spacious

Confused receptionist had already checked someone into our room so had to walk in the dark to find a caravan. This was already very late

We had 2 nights the hotel was average the fairy lodge was very poor. Damp, cramped no microwave as advetised. I could go on about how bad the 2nd night was in this so called fairy lodge even on the 1 night. The so called entertainment was always late on never starting at 1709 as we were told about an hour or more late. The ssme boring quizz 2 nights on the trot. The land of lighrs was good and the theme park was OK . The santa was so unbelievable enough to make 2 young kids stop believing - his wig and beard were slipping.

FAIRY LODGE.ENTERTAINMENT ON EVENING. RUBBISH SANTA.

Location and staff were brilliant room in new castle accomadation was lovely

Some of the spare sheets were dirty as in l9oked like they had been put on wet floor

    8GradyPosted on: 11-15-2025

The activities for the kids we're great, the hotel location was brilliant for park access, and the food was great too, the staff were more than helpful and couldn't do enough

Unfortunately the hotel itself needs updating, from the outside it looks lovely but the rooms give off run down premier inn vibes

    Proximity to the park

Tired room decor and not very clean

    9BPosted on: 11-13-2025

Room was fantastic, as were staff. Thank you!

Food was typical for a theme park, not quite to my suiting for a business trip hotel but understandable. Room had a smell of BO. Shower didn't seem to work. Minor points, otherwise all good :)

    It’s great for kids

Tv didn’t work , So hot in the rooms you can’t breath but can’t open a window , this hotel definitely needs updating

    7TanyaPosted on: 11-6-2025

Nice family room. Nice to have a separate kids area. Reasonable price. Clean and comfortable for one night. Staff were friendly and helpful at the hotel.

Hotel could do with a refurb, room was a bit dated, but fine for our one night stay.
