    Pros +

    • Met all expectations
    • I have stayed here many times in the past few years and it is a good value hotel, close to motorway and a nice pub next to it who serve great value meals and a good breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful.
    • View was nice.

    Cons -

    • Air con in room so window could be closed to prevent motorway noise.
    • Room wasn't that clean, bathroom had mould on the grout and tiles and the bath was rusty and damaged around the taps. Carpet was badly stained. Wifi was very poor in the room I was in, but much better in the pub itself. Again, no one on reception when I arrived, had to wait for some one to come across from the pub to check me in.
    • Food options was boring and came cold. Not alot to do around there.

Cheap room. Comfortable main bed in the family room.

The smaller bed was old and saggy. The room is in need of an upgrade. Redecoration would be nice. Bathroom was tired.

Stayed here many times, it's a great location just off the motorway, rooms are a good size comfortable. Nice food in pub next door.

Room wasn't the cleanest, lots of dust and bits in bathroom/bathTV didn't work properly as the signal cable was damaged.

Staff, food ,car parking and drinks all brilliant.

Beds were hard and the temperature in the room was disgraceful. We had 3 fans going and the room temperature was over 40° . Never ever again will we stay at the mount .

Big, Comfy bed, TV and tea making facilities. Reasonable price and in a location we wanted for our onward journey.

The bathrooms and general areas like lobby, stairwells etc could do with some TLC.

Not much really. Needs a serious refurbishment. Shower pressure was ok.

The grime on the bathroom tiles, the loose toilet seat, the rust on all the ironmongrey, the second bed is toddler size, No air conditioning, awful bath/shower controls, the leaking shower all over the floor,

    Comfortable room. Great shower.

Unfortunately for us it was Quiz Night in the restaurant the night we stayed. While the food was good - there was nowhere we could go to get away from the very loud music being played.

There was a bus stop just outside the hotel, which was very convenient for going to the train station that I used daily. The breakfast had variety and was plentiful.

One day I asked for continental breakfast, which was not available. Not a great deal, but it would have been nice if such breakfast could be offered.

It's ok for overnight stay, nothing too exciting, more or less clean and comfortable, more or less expected facilities. Basically matches the price.

The main problematic thing is lack of channels to communicate with the hotel - they don't have messaging support from on Booking, they don't respond to emails and there was no phone number I could successfully use to reach the reception (only some voice bot that was not helpful at all). For us this was very problematic as we were arriving pretty late and were very uncertain if it will be possible to still checkin.

A shabby, dated sub-standard room and gross bathroom means I would not recommend a stay here!

The bathroom had cracked tiles, blackened grout, damaged panelling on the front of the bath, which was chipped. There was no extractor fan!!The carpet was worn and frayed, the floor creaked and the noise from the room above was loud! No power points next to the bed for charging devices. The rooms are in dire need of renovation and definitely do not represent good value for money!

    8JoannePosted on: 4-27-2025

Price for us all to be in one room was affordable Liked the closeness of the restaurant.Good value for money for food.

Bathroom could have done with a little refurb around the taps. .

Good location, quiet and good value.

    Child bed a bit uncomfortable

    2AnnemariePosted on: 4-24-2025

Location was good for where we were going.

Staff were rude, we didn’t get the room we paid for and was told they had given it to someone else. The rooms were dated. Breakfast was awful, no tea or coffee, no fruit juice, we were in there for over an hour and managed to get one drink just before we left. Limited staff.

Location is nice, staff shows the accommodation were friendly

    Nice large rooms,very clean,comftable beds

    2NadinePosted on: 4-20-2025

    Very poor

Was very unclean, broken utilities. Cobwebs and mould around the room.

    6IanPosted on: 4-18-2025

    Friendly, helpful staff. Good location.

    No secure WiFi.

    3TolulopePosted on: 4-18-2025

    Not a thing

Possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed. The room smells funny, the towels were always used and stained. The shower was diabolical and no lifts for someone carrying bags and a child. It was a very bad experience. The staffs were not very helpful either.
