Friendly staff, large room, lovely restaurant & food

Light and bright reception, with super friendly and helpful staff. Easy to find your way about.

Breakfast was amazing and staff were amazing

Tv was not working and staff couldn't get it to work

Nice room and bar

Room was cold and hadn't been cleaned properly. There was a thick layer of dust on the shelves and the bed was dusty. Some of the bulbs didn't work. The kettle was broken

Great hotel and very pleasant team despite it being boxing day evening when we arrived.There was a limited dinner menu understandably, but just what we wanted and ate dinner in the bar area which was ideal.The team member at breakfast(short,dark hair) apologies forgot her name, was very polite, positive and professional and nothing was too much trouble, and a great cooked to order choice as well.

Could have stretched to having free bottles of water in the room, but a lot of hotels overlook this small, but to us key point so, not really a criticism.

Comfortable beds, clean…. Shower good, bathroom could do with some touch’s.Breakfast good.. overall good value for money.. friendly staff, reception excellent

Little tatty up close, big property..Empty bar , and breakfast very quiet, not much ready self service hot food.. had to order with waitress..

Room was clean and comfortable. Lovely bar area and restaurant. My steak for supper was excellent and the breakfast very good.

Heating wasn't on in my room and wouldn't work had to report it then it was miraculously sorted it should have been tested and on for arrival

Staff were efficient, but not that welcoming. Room wasn’t that clean.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating, ensuring any queries or requests we had were dealt with promptly. The room was comfortable and spacious and the food was great.

One of the glasses in the room was filthy. The paper cover was over it like it hadn't been used, which was probably the reason why it was overlooked.

room ideally located near to restaurant and lounge for people with mobility needs, very helpful to have wide corridors, bannisters and no steps.Excellent breakfast with variety to suit different choices.All staff were welcoming, very helpful and friendly.

Brighter lighting in bedroom would have been helpful

Great location ,handy for going into liverpool and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend it old world with modern amenities lovely.

It was a great place for a wedding, the service and food were excellent .The room was clean and comfortable,

Can be an issue finding the hotel it's on a one-way system and could be easily missed, The hotel is located on the edge of a large industrial area, The hotel is not near any other amenities (shops/petrol station pubs)

Staff were awesome, friendly and helpful. Room just a little dated, but clean and a very comfy bed.

Room just a little tired, for example.ple no usb sockets, glad I remembered my plug.

The room was a very good size and well equipped with the expected bathroom items (although a small towel rail for the hand towel would be useful). A bonus was that the heating radiator was available 24 hours and easy to regulate, first class.

I can’t find anything to fault. We didn’t use the restaurant for breakfast or dinner so cannot comment on the food.
