The Bay Horse Hotel

Very clean friendly staff and great value for money food excellent good choices at breakfast

Great location , great staff, very clean

As above

Lovely stay, room was clean and comfortable, the restaurant staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble.

NA

I liked the pub and the staff..and the food was good bedroom was nice clean and beds were comfy.

Nothing everything was good What you'd expect fir the price. The staff work really hard.

Easy access to race course and town center

Bar prices quite high and breakfast was not hot

Stayed here a few times for our trips to haydock races. Staff always helpful and friendly.

Gave us a disabled room next to main entrance door so noisy with everyone coming and going

Rooms were lovely, clean and very spacious. Beds comfortable. Great location and even though it is part of a pub you don't here any noise. Great value for money

Excellent location for the race track

The breakfast offering was poor, the menu on the app was unavailable and the replacement was much smaller for the same price with only a few options

The staff the food the room was good

There was stains on the towels

Room was nicely decorated and was really impressive. Could have done with a couple of biscuits with the tea and coffee provided in the room.Parking on site and option to charge car (if EV) was really good to see.

Was looking forward to watching a movie. Unfortunately, even though the room has a Samsung smart TV, it was not connected to the internet and the settings were locked out so as a guest I could not also connect the TV to the internet. Therefore only able to watch terrestrial TV, which these days is rubbish.Breakfast was fine, I was not amazed with the vegetarian option esp as it came with only a single fried egg. Filter coffee at breakfast was disappointing. An espresso, cappuccino ect should have also been offered. I stayed away from making toast as other guests had their hands all over the bread when getting slices from a bread bin and placing in the toaster. Some tongs would have been nice and a commercial breakfast taster instead of a 4 slice home toaster (I could see guests were waiting on each other).

Lovely welcoming staff, very clean! Very quiet for a pub!

Staff and cleanliness!

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good meals and large bar and restaurant. Very comfortable rooms with radiators that you can increase the heat. All lovely!

Very big room. Comfortable bed. Great breakfast

Nice hotelGood roomsPub with food attachedBreakfast is served early enough for business travellers which is a bonusLocation to motorway

Bed was fairly comfortable

Not very clean and smelled

Another stay here, friendly helpful staff, clean and quiet.Really convenient for me.

The property was in a great location for a day at the races. The rooms were a good size, clean and the bed was comfy. Close to the town if you fancied venturing out.

Everything was great but there was no shower gel in the dispenser and the bottom of the shower curtain was beginning to show signs that it needed changing.

Staff very friendly, great location for races , food very good and good price

Very quick and efficient service on a last minute booking.

A little pricey for the location but needs must.

Staff amazingLocation near racecourse and townClean and spacious rooms
