Hotel Coco is located in the Suffolk coastal port town of Felixstowe, 32 mi from Harwich. This fully refurbished boutique hotel features a Marco Pierre White Steak House restaurant and Marco Pierre White ale house, both of which are fully air-conditioned. Located just half a mile from Felixstowe Railway Station, with free on-site parking and a few minutes' walk from town center. Just a few minutes' walk away is a typically British shingle beach with colorful beach huts. The hotel has rooms with attached bathroom with tea/coffee making facilities, telephone and flat-screen with Freeview TV. Specially selected toiletries are included. Some bedrooms offer spa bath and separate walk-in shower. The Queens Head ale house has Sky TV and offers a seasonal selection of snacks and mains. The hotel has an attractive lounge and exterior patio area. Hotel Coco is ideally located for exploring the Suffolk countryside and neighboring town of Woodbridge. - David on reception was exceptional always reliable in his can do approach and made my stay wonderful - great food too
- The room was a bit tired, but very clean and everything expected was present. Incredibly good value. I understand the hotel is undergoing an upgrade and we specifically chose a room that had not been upgraded yet so we had no complaints whatsoever. The staff were lovely (have to pick out the brilliant David on the front desk here). The Marco Pierre White steak restaurant within the hotel was sensational. Again, lovely staff. I rarely have steak at a restaurant in the UK as they are usually ruined. This was superb. Our server did not try to upsell which impressed us. Excellent wine selection too. Though not cheap I dont think our meal was unreasonably priced at all and we did not stint (upselling all by ourselves). Highly recommended.
