Initially our booking wasn't showing on the hotels system but they gave us an upgrade to a bigger room with sea views to sort things out - A nice outcome.Excellent location for a stop over while walking the South West Coast Path. And good value.Very efficient with serving breakfasts as there was also a large group of golfers in.

Bed was incredibly squeaky (metal frames) and rooms were very basic. A lot of money to spend for a night and expected a little more. Seems you pay for the location

The cleanliness was shocking, dust and grime on the floors, bedding bobbly and thin, pillows lumpy....we didn't sleep, and were up and away by 7.30am to get home for a shower.

Comfortable hotel in the middle of town, handy to the harbour too explore. Nice food and very cosy and warm inside when the outside weather is cold.
