Gorgeous hotel. Stylish decor. Room with balcony overlooking the sea just heaven.

Bar not open at the moment. No lunch or dinner available in restaurant.

Although a sea view it was also on a very noisy road especially from early hours of the morning so had disrupted sleep. Room on 2nd floor- no lift! No hanging space for longer clothes

Property was dirty.Room was disgusting and very dirty.It did not feel safe having a pin code to enter the bedroom.

Staff exceptional...Food was lovely & very presentable.Hotel very stylish & good location.

Room smelt fusty / paintwork & carpet stairs could do with upgrade.

Fabulous location It was across the road from a stunning beach

The room looked out onto the back years and not very attractive

We were walking the Cornwall Walk, so the hotel was located right off the route. We liked that it was a little further away from the main drag of stores and restaurants, so it was pretty quiet.

The rooms are small - we could barely fit our two small carry on luggages on the floor to unpack our things. Furniture is outdated and worn out - its as if they brought in furniture for a donation store. The bed was uncomfortable and lumpy, the room's carpet looked dirty - just an overall unlikeable experience.

The location is perfect, the staff are so helpful and the breakfasts are amazing. Loads of plug sockets, clean towels and a great bathroom

I’d prefer a rail than a smallish wardrobe for more storage and I’d like a light near the dressing table. Stair carpet needs a clean or replacing with a darker colour.

Location is OK but right at the end of town. Breakfast was nice - when they got the orders correct! Front office staff were very helpful.

Breakfast was nice - when they got the orders correct! Catering is by an outside agency not the hotel. However, I ordered the same thing 3 days running and they got the order wrong twice out of 3 times and had to send it back; they don't write down the order and just walk off trying to remember it. Also VERY IMPORTANT - there is no sign on the hotel that says "OYO", just "Newquay Beach Hotel" so we drove around for ages trying to spot it looking for "OYO". Be aware - lots of steps and not suitable for people with mobility difficulties.

The location was perfect for us, just over a mile from Lusty Glaze and walking distance to Fistral beach. The staff were really friendly, the breakfast was excellent.

The bedroom, despite being a premium double with balcony, was dated and tired looking. The balcony was tiny and the two chairs very scruffy, the bathroom was tiny. However the bed was quite comfy.

The breakfast,the two girls that worked there,amazing and very friendly and accomadating.The view from the balcony, superb.

The bed was extremely awful, uncomfortable, complained to management to be told there's nothing they can do,it's up to head office to.let them sort it.No entertainment,no evening meals either.

Location is good. Dining area and bar has a pleasant decor in good condition. The breakfast and bar staff were very friendly and attentive.

The ‘standard’ double room was nothing of the sort. It was obviously a single occupancy room with a double bed slotted into a recess so tightly that you could not get into bed from the sides. You had to get into bed by sliding up from the bottom of the bed and then having to contort to get under the bed clothes. So there were no bedside cabinets and no bedside lamps. So you had to slide out of the bottom of the bed again to switch the lights off by the door.

The room was not a small double, was a single room only, and had no space for anything. , price we paid was expensive for the room we were allocated. Balcony held up by blue rope, no toiletries in shower. Shabby carpet marks all over, did not feel clean. Would not stay again.

I love the service the staff always there for you. Ans also the waitresses so lovely kind and very helpful. Fantastic girls.

The week we was there never changes the clean towels and bed linen. And also the room I was.I think the washing machine was there all nights was the noise.

The management were very helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The waiting staff were very friendly polite and professional. The breakfasts were delicious and very well presented.

The bar was closed on 3 nights we were there. My husband has dementia and we went back to the hotel each night after we has eaten an evening meal. We would sit in the bar, have a few drinks and play cards, but on the nights when we got back to find a " Bar Closed " sign, we just went to our room and watched TV.

Really like the location and view with us having a balcony which was large enough and sea view . Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Felt the room was a bit small for a week's stay wish we had gone for the bigger room . Bar inconsistent on opening

we had the penthouse room, no mini fridge supplied in the room, bed was a standard double (expected king or queen size at penthouse) shower was over bath which didnt drain( had 100mm of water by the time you had finished) could do with a refresh on paintwork in the room, no knowlegement of being our honeymoon even though notified prior to booking limited onsite parking at £10 per night

Great stay , perfect location for the town centre and beaches .Stayed for boardmasters festival and hotel was extremely convenient as the festival shuttle bus drop off and pick up was minutes from the hotel.The whole team, including the General Manager were very attentive and helpful and made our stay very comfortable.The breakfast is of an excellent quality and the staff at breakfast were brilliant .Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay again.

Rooms are on the slightly small size. But perfectly adequate.

Location was fantastic, close to everything and staff most helpful with luggage up the stairs. Breakfast was awesome overlooking the beach. Will certainly be back, greetings from Australia

The lighting I the bathroom wasn’t very good for shaving the was no small window you leave open at night
