- Excellent hotel , we had the camilla suite which was a huge room for me and my family . Lots of facilities. Close to all the amusements of newquay. We didn't get to use the swimming pool but it looked clean tidy and very welcoming. Hotel and room was kept really clean and tidy .
- We had a large room which was ideal for 2 adults with children of 19 & 22. On first impression we were so excited about our short stay. Beds were made daily and tea/coffee replenished.

Cons -
- Bar was closed throughout . Swimming pool closed at 5pm so we didn't get rhe chance to use it as we were out during the day x
- The bathroom of our room STANK. Must awful smell of drains. This made the rest of the room smell too. The flooring in the bathroom was very poor. The shower was dreadful. No water pressure at all and took a good 10 minutes to warm up. We bought air fresheners and some zoflora for the smell. Putting the zoflora down the plugs and also putting the plug in the bath and some water with zoflora in it. People in rooms close by were smoking on the balcony so we couldn’t leave our door open . It was boiling in our room. No food available, no entertainment. It stated on booking this is not available from the 7th-11th August. We stayed 2nd - 5th!!!

Nothing has been liked very very poor service and value for money . I wouldn't suggest anyone to stay in this hotel. Food is not good and the room amenities are not provided what they are promised to do. Only the location is good.
Near to beach
Unhelpful staff. Advertise swimming pool not available.. no breakfast.
You get what you pay for, it wasn’t that clean quite dusty behind doors needed hoovering but at £100 you can’t complain the pool was nice
Clean rooms , swimming pool, very close to beach We going be back there again
Clean rooms, although could do with a bit of updating. Swimming pool was very good and staff were really polite and always smiling and happy.
There was a very loud noise all through the night we think perhaps the pipes but took a while to go to sleep because of this. I loved how warm and cosy the rooms were however my partner not so keen.
Staff was nice and it had a good feel about the place
Stayed in the family room and you could hear everything in the other room

Location
Beds were horrid. Very noisy between rooms each side and above and could hear everything from hallway. Decor and room layout was very dated and tired. The floors creaked and clacked disturbing other rooms as you walked the hallway.
It was a good location for me to drop my daughter off at the Boardmasters music festival. It was clean and the staff were helpful when the TV didn't work.
There was no enough parking, so I had to park down the road and get up early to move my car. The room was painfully tiny with a very plastic en suite with a leaking shower. The TV didn't work and I had to get two members of staff to help sort it out, it had apparently been knocked during cleaning which is why it didn't work.
Leaving
Room was awful, dirty with cracks in the walls and wallpaper peeling off. You could only open the windows an inch and could not get any air into the room. The mattress was very poor quality and uncomfortable. Made very uncomfortable at breakfast as I was not with a coach party and nothing set out for me.

Location was good.
Dirty sheets, hairs, stains, red and brown, no towels, no hot water, no toilet roll, torn carpet. Dated decor.
Staff were kind. Room was clean.
Room should have a mini fridge at least. It was really hot during the summer and to get a cold drink I had to go out and buy one rather than storing drinks in the room.
We loved that the place still has the traditional hotel vibe, we liked the decor and the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and we were served by a lovely lady, the food came fast and was delicious. The room was beautiful and clean.
Location
Noisy, walls are very thin. Very old fashioned decor. No Wi-Fi in the room.
