Pros +
- Friendly deputy manager
- The hotel is well located and close to shops and restaurants. The check in process was quick and easy, and friendly staff are on hand to assist. Free tea and coffee available in the reception area, if you run out of the supplies in the room.
- We were greeted by Maize at the front desk who made our check in a breeze. She also gave us a great recommendation for dinner that was fantastic.I was also glad to see a bath mat was provided by the hotel for shower. At my age, this is very important as most bath/showers are very slippery. Also the hotel's breakfast was very good.
Cons -
- The hotel is a little on the dated side. In the room I had, the bathroom could use a refresh. There was paint peeling on the walls and the finish could use some refinement. The furniture in the room was dated, although some may find it attractive and perhaps "quaint". Each to their own.
- Parking was a challenge, but at least parking was provided.
- Upgrade swimming pool!

Did not have breakfast. Central location.
Upgrade swimming pool!
The room was beautiful and very clean we have had a wonderful time but I did move the table and sun beds to the over side it looks better
The swimming pool and not over looked in the little garden area
Clean and well maintained, while not coastal the location is good for access to the north and south coast of cornwall.
Unfortunately that the pool was out of service during our stay.
Location clean room and friendly staff
Facilities are old for my liking
The staff were very good and when we had an issue they did their best to sort it for us.
Previous occupants in the room had spilt milk, the smell was very unpleasant, it was finally discovered so we were able to settle for the night.
Very clean easy check in and out staff were all helpful Breakfast was great and a full selection Heated pool
Really friendly staff, good location and ample parking
One of the treats when staying away is a proper cooked English breakfast. At no point did I see that this hotel only served Halal, a barbaric method of slaughter. This information should be visible when booking, not hidden at the bottom of the breakfast menu!
Breakfast was nice but no bacon or pork sausage was available. Understandable as the owners were Muslim. Would have liked a non pork alternative. Other than that the hotel was lovely on all counts. Many thanks.
No bacon at breakfast
Well located. Nice room, good parking.
No option for an evening meal.
Friendly staff, breakfast was okay, pity no evening meal was available
My room (12A) IE number 13 had an annoying loud knock which happened at odd times and woke me up during the night
Seperate entrance. Fridge in room. Pool. Unobtrusive staff.
Lack of local decent pubs to eat (possibly due to being before main holiday season)
Good hotel, very clean, very pleasant and helpful staff.
Breakfast options limited, no bar facilities.
Staff were fab
Silverfish in the room and lots of damage to the pool, missing tiles chunk out of the step etc.
The staff was really helpful, friendly. The hotel was really cleaned, well equipped, location as well really good.. we loved it
All was good
