Really enjoyed the spa and the breakfast as the breakfast was lovely and home-made

The portions in the evening meal were bit too big

The View, room size and the service - well done Room Service in such harsh weather too

Having chosen the room for the view and accommodation (12 yr. old gets to choose bunk or double bed ), the venue as expected, facilitates for health, rather than fun family for a twelve year old, which I should have looked for

Locations was good, room was comfortable but noisy

1st morning had no hot water, expensive for what you received

    7LeighPosted on: 1-25-2026

The staff were lovely, the location is great. Breakfast was delicious

There were a lot of leaks. No hot water. It looked a bit run down.

    8PaulPosted on: 1-16-2026

Great room lovely view, excellent pool and spa that you can’t use for the day before check in

Doesn’t look great from the front

    10LindseyPosted on: 1-12-2026

Breakfast was fabulous. The Wild Cafè menu was varied and interesting and the food delicious. The Spa was also fabulous. Our room was fabulous.

Only tiny thing, could have done with an extra shelf or two in the bathroom.

Lovely quirky hotel on the cliff. I like quirkiness so it suited me. It's well worth upgrading to sea view room esp if there's a big bright moon.

A couple of cup rings on the bedside table, this has happened during two stays. I cleaned it up myself but it's that little bit of attention to detail that would put them in the PERFECT category.

The peacefulness of a Winter breakExcellent breakfast choices.Swimming pool and spa facilities. Home made biscuits.

Not much. Took time to find tea making facilities, hidden in cupboard..

Continental breakfast was superb and the view at breakfast was amazing .The vibe at the hotel was calm , with many thoughtful touches . This is my third visit and I will keep coming back because it is so lovely

Small thing , how the bread is served first in the restaurant, to be given the option to eat it throughout the meal instead as as a course . It a little confusing , and you end up eating too much and not having any to mop up sauces later on .

The relaxing room with fire was nice.

A lot of people in small breakfast area.

    6HazelPosted on: 1-5-2026

    Great location and views

Areas felt outdated and quality of breakfast was not as expected

    6EdwinPosted on: 12-1-2025

    Location

First room was like a prison cell and damp (cosy room) - it wasnt the size as I knew would be small but the draughty and ratlly window frames and the damp smell and darkness I got moved to a better room but was charged extra. Still not a great room. Breakfast included, but no hot food. You had to pay Common parts faded

    10JanePosted on: 11-30-2025

So relaxing and calming with amazing sea views

The lighting in the bedroom was a little too dim - made putting in make up impossible- had to do this in the bathroom .

    10RaePosted on: 11-23-2025

    Excellent Artisan breakfast

Shower needed a rinser. Tiny sink. Lack of bathroom shelving.

    8VictoriaPosted on: 11-18-2025

    The views

Prior to check in I phoned to clarify if showing sports which they had confirmed and on arrival advised they weren’t showing rugby

    8DavidPosted on: 11-15-2025

    Staff were lovely

Bit keen to shut tge coffee shop and tge curtains to the veiws of the coast

    10StephaniePosted on: 11-12-2025

The staff are friendly and talkative It smells great , I received an upgrade to a sea view room and it really made my week . The breakfast is fantastic continental all locally sourced and fresh baked . Large comfortable bed . Very simple not fussy clean bright large room .

There’s nothing bad to say . If I had to say one thing that it’s not as nice on the outside as the inside but the views are to die for
