Pros +
- Great location, rooms were clean, comfortable and amazing.
- The ambience
- Very spacious and clean room with BIG bathroom. Oodlles of hot water in a roomy shower.. Quiet location despite it's proximity to a scenic attraction.Unfortunately despite being an inn there was no food avaialble in the evening. Breakfast however was fine.Plenty of parking outside.Good variety of real ales.
Cons -
- Lack of evening food. Expensive beer
- Greeting was hasty, perfunctory and unwelcoming.
- I'm 5'11" so the "full size" bed presents a small challenge.

Greeting was hasty, perfunctory and unwelcoming.
Everything was perfect for us as we were walking the south west coast path.Great room, comfy bed, very clean.Great pub with great food and lots of parking on the green.
Staff were marvelous. Room was very clean and quiet.

The location was fantastic. Parking outside was great food in the evening was okay. Breakfast in the morning was okay although a little disorganised the room was a great size.
We paid for a room with a view of the ocean and it was very limited above the houses. The room was very hot due to the radiator being on full. We did call someone up at 10 o’clock at night to try and turn the radiator off but somebody damaged the valve so it couldn’t be turned off so they turned the heating off in the whole building. There was no fresh water available. We’ve had to leave the windows open all night and the blinds up because they kept flapping around in the wind and the light of the heat in the room and for a small time had to leave the door open to try and get the heat out which kept us awake and in the morning early the sunlight woke us earlier than hoped for. The teacup was tiny more coffee cups and the whole room wasn’t very clean. The windows were filthy And the bathroom looks like it needs a complete overhaul.over priced and relying on the location.
Really nice hotel right in the hub of the village. Easy access to everything. The hotel and our room was nicely decorated and a pleasant space to be in. We had a lovely meal at the hotel and staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was a bit hot. No breakfast included in the price.
Great location, spacious room, nice pub
Great location, being near the Lizard but also the village itself. Plenty of free public parking. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice food. Clean and comfortable accommodation.
A little overpriced for a B&B with basic amenities. Bearing in mind the breakfast is extra. Large bedroom, but small bed and TV.
Amazing pie and perfectly cooked chips, great choice of beer, locally sourced toiletries was a nice touch, plenty of teabags. Great location on the green, would happily stay again!
i liked the room which was a good size, the offer of DVD rental, which is a nice personal touch
The bathroom shower was tired and even though the sink and toilet were well cleaned, the shower looked uappetising and dirty and the towel rack was a bit rusty... not a huge problem but given the price one would expecct better.
A super little hotel/pub in the centre of Lizard village. Walking distance to the coast and plenty of free parking available. The rooms are nicely refurbished and very comfortable.
Clean, great location and good views
No breakfast included in the price. I should have booked direct as this only happens when using booking.com so next time I’d book direct!
Lovely place, great atmosphere in the pub, delicious breakfast, friendly helpful staff. Great mattress - very comfy. Perfect stay
We liked the location and the friendly atmosphere and staff
Absolutely fabulous stay, very warm welcome, fabulous food we had homemade fish cakes for lunch, homemade chicken & ham pie for dinner, best pie ?AND a slice of the most amazing caramel cake, a family run pub very accommodating, we felt very welcome so much so we’ve booked a return visit in August ?
The location was excellent for someone doing the SWCP.The food was nice. Staff were friendly.
The room was ok for 1 but if was travelling with a partner would be a bit small.

Excellent position, free and convenient parking, comfortable room, sea view, friendly helpful staff.
