Tewinbury Farm Hotel

Our telly didn't work and the staff were really kind and helpful and tried to fix it. When it couldn't be fixed they immediately gave us a new room with a working telly.

We love our room. It's clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and nice. Serene environment, perfect for relaxing. The food were delish. We booked a room that is quite a walk from the reception and dining place, but the receptionists were kind enough to offer a lift.

We just stayed for a night. We should've stayed longer

The Buildings and set up was perfect. Stunning what they have done with an old farm.

Small details would raise the stay. Cheap toilet roll, shampoo and body wash. Presentation of staff, casual but very Tardy. Unironed shirts. Staff member serving full of the cold. Not good. Food served cold. Evening meal and breakfast warm but not hot.

Liked the location, would be better in summer with dry weather, liked the coffee shop, had nice room in new block, was lovely and quiet, meal in Cowshed was good, breakfast very nice, all staff very helpful

Would have preferred a lounge within dry walking distance, we stayed playing a game for 3 hours in the coffee shop as the bar doesn’t open until 5pm, no other place to go. Also check in not til 3pm with check out 11am is not even a day. Also was only 1 bath towel in each room for two people?

The room was close to a function which was playing thudding music until late, very noisy and sadly our thick tortellini was under cooked and had hard parts

We got the lake hut with alfresco tub, and it was amazing. The room was nice and cozy, the hot tub was ready for us to use, and the view was really nice. The breakfast was really yummy, and we also enjoyed the dinner at the main restaurant. The entire farm is dog friendly, which we really appreciated as we traveled with our dog - a bowl and a bed were ready for her in the hut, and she came to all our meals. We also got roasted marshmallows when we came back from our walk - the little fires and the tiny cafe that serves hot chocolate and mulled wine were very Christmasy.

Room was very cold and small and dark. Too cold to shower ( bath with shower installed)Stayed in lovely room before but this room not good

Great location, lots of different areas, bars and facilities.

Noisy air-conditioning in the room, but it wasn't turned on.Leaky shower, water spread all across the bathroom floor.

Clean, brand new appliances and attention to detail

Only think was food items missing from the menu at the bar so limited food

Room was well located as we have mobility issues. Breakfast excellent.

We had twin beds. One of them slid away from the wall following slightest movement and pillows fell down the back. Beds either need securing better or headboards provided. Also there was no handrail at all in the shower and as I can't stand up for long I could not use it.

Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. We liked our Riverside house with the wood fire hot tub and the wood heater. My partner enjoyed lighting the wood heater.

The sofa in the lounge area was rather small

Bed was great. Christmas was all around the territory of the hotel - cool Apres Ski bar and lights path.

It is Superb! The Lakeside property is SO gorgeous! Could not fault it!

Our son tried to pay towards our meal/wine but it wasn’t possible for him to do this with a card over the phone- but it didn’t hinder our stay!

Beautiful room at kingsbridge. Nice that it’s away from the main centre so it’s super peaceful. Excellent facilities in the room and loved the thought that has gone into all the little things lin the room - like fresh milk in the fridge and not just the standard sewing kit and shoe shine but hair clips and combs etc. Comfy and clean.

Shame that room service isn’t offered at kingsbridge. Maybe this should be made clear when booking? Or alternatively find a way to offer it?

The room and spa were lovely. Beautiful lake views and the logs to build a fire.

I got charged for a late check out, but I wasn't late checking out. No breakfast option. No room service. I had to request non feather bedding 3 times as no one came! I dont think its worth the money when you dont get any food or option to have room service

Don’t

My property was stolen from my room whilst I was at my wedding with little to no help how to get it back or get compensation for the distress this has caused me. My items were sentimental to my wedding day.

The area is nice and staff are friendly and it's nice to see the owners on site!

The room we stayed in. A shepherds hut. Was very very basic and I wasn't expecting that at the high price. Would rather stay in the main building next time as we did before (chose a hut as the hotel room was so small but this was even smaller).
