Location was good..hotel room as always was incredible..staff polite and very helpful..car parking was easy.
Comfy and a better standard than was expecting for 3*. Rituals soaps and big shower!
Stay was great but bar staff were quite unfriendly and unhelpful.
Excellent central location. Very friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable snug room.
location very good, v nice to be in a historic inn (16th century), room had everything we needed and breakfast was ample and good
Room was quite small with the large bed hard against one wall
Lovely room. Comfy bed. Nice shower. Good location. Helpfulstaff.
Handy car park but fills up quickly.
Friendly staff. Great location. Comfortable bed.
Room was smaller than expected. Bathroom especially tight.
Room was large with a large walk in shower.Breakfast was good.
No space (shelves or cupboard) to put clothes, just 4 hangers. Difficult to get to the hangers on the far side of the bed especially if you have any disability. The bed was quite low and difficult to get up from for anyone not using a wheelchair.
Attractively presented, car park and warm.
Staff good attitude but a couple of glitches
Perfect locationSteeped in historyFriendly and helpful staff Delicious breakfast We stayed far away from the staircase so couldn’t hear any noise from pub downstairs Rustic interior Comfy pillows and bed
Couldn’t find car park at first and had to wait 10-20 mins for a space Locked out of room 10 mins before check out time, luckily the cleaner saw us coming out of the room earlier for breakfast so let us back in to quickly get our stuff
History and the general appearance also the ambience, very cosy and friendly atmosphere.
Room was nice and large, bed was very comfortable. Shower was good and gave hot water straight away.
No tissues in the room. The stairs were awkward, wide and not all the same, understood they could not alter them as it is a listed building.
Staff were extremely friendly, bed was spacious and hotel theme is great.
Heating/air on was noisy during the night. Walls to the room next door were a little thin also.
The beautiful building is full of character .The staff was very helpful. Even though it doesn't mention at first glance, the hotel has got free parking space just down the bell lane next to the hotel .
Everything
Would have been nice to have bottled water in the room.Breakfast was nice but wasn't keen on the crunchy hash brown
How comfy it was... The building... Welcoming
Couple of cobwebs in room and a phone to call room service would be useful.
The location
Staff never at desk and not overly friendly.Apart from one lady.
Its a great hotel with an interesting history and a central location
Price has doubled in less than two years and it's no longer value for money
