The Royal Foresters is situated near Ascot, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was lovely and spotlessly clean. With a well stocked mini bar and complementary bottles of water and lovely toiletries and fluffy towels and bath robes.

The only little downer was not being able to control the temperature within the room. It seemed to be on a centralised system. Giving you no control on how warm or cool you might like it in the room. Opening a window on to a busy car park made it not a available option.

I booked the hotel for colleagues while working in the Ascot area. It is way above the accommodation they’d normally stay in so they were delighted

Nice, clean, comfortable rooms. We were visiting Lapland UK in the nearby forest, so location was excellent!

The room was excellent, as was our experience of dining. Breakfast was also excellent We found all of the staff to be helpful and clearly very customer aware.We’ve stayed on a number of previous occasions and the standards were the same.

Having stayed 4-nights over the past month (2x separate rooms), the TV’s continue to not be connected to the central WiFi network. This makes it impossible to enjoy any streaming content, which was a big highlight for me when I used to stay regular in years gone by. Small fixes (and maybe a slight upgrade to the tech) would round off what are on the whole, very nice rooms.

Friendly super efficient staff, massive seating area for food and drink , large selection of Lagers ,Wines etc , lovely comfortable warm room with walk in shower/soft water , large TV , Nespresso coffee machine , bed /pillows very comfy , clean and homely ..

Charging £25 for 1 hour extra in room. It was so loud. There was a party on in the function room and my room was next to it.

The property was great couldn’t fault it except small problem in shower which was blocked and I fixed . Very simply fix.

Rooms bit hot .Tv didn’t work no one to ask once in room at night no one answered phone .

Staff were friendly, they stopped to chat. I had an issue with the heating in the room and the manager dealt with it straight away, we were offered another room. Would definitely book again.

Location was brilliant, venue was excellent on Friday , very busy though, so finding a seat was nigh on impossible

Booked meal for the Saturday at 7.30, waited well over an hour for our starter, was fobbed off with crap excuses , eventually brought over by the manager at 8.40. Mains turned up was barely warm , we complained and was offered hot gravy to put on it , completely ruined our stay and weekend. Got up this morning (Sunday) massive power cut, no showers working, went round to get breakfast but non available as no power (obviously no one could forsee this) but completely ruined our weekend, for a place of that size surely back up generators would be an idea, all in all what was a weekend we had been waiting for completely ruined by very bad service etc in restaurant on Saturday evening and power cut Sunday morning

Despite being very busy the restaurant and bar areas still have a great ambiance and very good staff

Perfect location to walk to LaplandUK! So much festive decor set up in the pub for Christmas! The staff were incredible - so kind and helpful, especially with our 4y/o daughter. (Let her play with the tree ornaments and gave her crayons and paper to colour with.) Rooms were clean and stylish. Much better than most other pub rooms we’ve stayed in. So pleasantly surprised!

This didn’t bother us, but if you’re sensitive to noise at night, the pub crowd and music might get on your nerves. But we thought it added to the festive atmosphere of the weekend!
