New Inn - Dorchester

Food was fabulous. All the staff were so polite and nice. We were in the old part of the inn and the rooms were quaint but modernized. Would definitely recommend and go back if ever in the area

The room was big and comfortable. The staff were very nice. The restaurant was excellent. It was a very good stay.

The restarurant is amazing. Our two dinners here were some of the best we had on our trip.

Good price, big room, nice staff, very good dinner, good breakfast, lots of parking, tea and coffee extras in the room, good WiFi.

Food and drink good. Nice clean comfortable room. Waiters and staff nice.

Management could have been a little less standoffish.

Very comfortable, spacious room. Lovely/easy to use shower. Lots of nice freebies in the room, biscuits, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Nice addition of a small fridge. Tvs in both bedrooms was nice. Very tasty breakfast too and good service

Lovely staff made you feel very welcome, room very clean with thoughtful additions and a breakfast to die for, located in a pretty village.

Lovely and remote, quiet, a lovely group of people in the pup and restaurant area with friendly staff.

Location fine.

Very stuffy and noisy room. (Road House)Hard pillows. Still no coat hooks anywhere in the room for hanging outside coats.Bathroom extractor fan didn't work as didn't the mirror lights (wires were exposed)Cold cooked breakfast apart from the sausage.Staff preoccupied on phone , so missed serving cereal which the cook had to bring.No conversation from staff when checking out to see how our stay was.

Really lovely room with plenty of supplies for drinking, great shower, pleasing decor. Dinner and breakfast were excellent with good choices. Well worth the visit.

The Inn is lovely proper country pub. It’s remote location is beautiful peaceful and relaxing The rooms were beautiful very clean and well proportioned The food available was unmatched by anywhere we’ve stayed at on Booking.com it was fabulous . John (the chef) takes great pride in what is served and the variety of choices for lunch dinner and breakfast is amazing.Have no doubt this is a little gem of a place to stay and eat. Go you’ll not be disappointed

I recommend this hotel. Breakfast was very delicious and restaurant staff was very friendly.Generally I recommend this hotel.

Only one disappointment with this hotel that when we reach the hotel, receptionist man was very unfriendly. Our English quite enough for communication but the receptions man all the time tried to correction about our speaking so we were very bored. On the other hand there was only one plastic cup at the room and there is no bath slippers.

Excellent meal in the evening, helpful staff. Very good breakfast.

Staff very friendly, breakfast excellent, only ate te evening meal once but that was very good too.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was spacious and breakfast was very good. Parking was available within the premises free of charge, which was a bonus. The staff were friendly, warm and welcoming.

The music from the bar was a bit loud earlier on, even though it was thereafter quiet and peaceful once the bar closed. The shower cubicle was not as clean as could be with some stains on the shower tray.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The location was perfect location for work and will consider staying if I travel to the area for pleasure.The bar and food options were perfect and very well priced.

Only one complaint, the TV was activated vis an old Digi-Box. Not the easiest to navigate around.

Fabulous venue. Room exceeded expectations with plenty of coffee, tea and preferences to choose from. Breakfast was amazing with great quality with sausages, bacon and eggs.

Shower head needs to attention. Plenty or pressure but descaling recommended.

Excellent value for money with good sized rooms, very clean and some nice touches of tea,coffee,hot chocolate and cookies in the room, good quality shower & hair shampoo provided. Nice bar and eating area, breakfast was exceptional quality with an excellent range to choose from, staff were all very friendly.

Spacious room. Bed very comfortable.

No view from the room. Only a small velux window. Evening meal was disappointing. Only vegetarian choice was curry. Got the impression that the chef wasnt particularly interested in Veggie food.
