Trump Turnberry

Everything! Attention to detail, friendliness from all the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was absolutely impeccable. So relaxing. The location is also a bonus.

Kids to be out pool by 6pm - we were not told this when we went to pool at 5:15pm

The place was very nice and the hotel was very welcoming the staff were very professional and friendly

We like the theme of the property and it’s very classy feel

Staff were lovely however service was awful, waiting 15/20 mins between drinks. Ordered drinks with dinner and dinner arrived first and drinks didn’t come untill 15 minutes after our dinner, when we had finished. Also breakfast in the morning I ordered eggs Benedict and my girlfriend ordered toast , her toast came in 5 minutes however we ended up having to order again for my eggs Benedict and total wait time was 1 hour before we decided to leave still with no breakfast. Also some minor things like going up to the room couple hours after check in and still no bag.

Breakfast so much choice and all very well presented. Staff were very attentive and charming. We also got an upgrade when we arrived which was very nice.

A little warmer as we came from Cyprus, but we got an extra duvet from maids.

Everything place was spotless staff over the top nice cracking place to go a walk around

Three weeks ago we stayed at Trump Turnberry. It was our first visit, and in all honesty, we didn’t know a whole lot about the hotel prior to booking, nor did I read any reviews, but if you’re looking for information on a recent stay, then perhaps our experiences may help you in your research.We had booked a villa for our one night stay. Upon check in, we were told that we’d been upgraded to stay in the main building, which was a most pleasant surprise. Check in was quick, and efficient. Our luggage was taken, and the car parked by the valet team.We walked up to our room, and the first thing that struck me, was the level of finish on the materials around the building. You would not know that there was any age to the fabric of the hotel, as everything appeared to be brand new. I come from a construction background, and I’ve seen old hotels that have been refurbished, and Trump Turnberry is really next level in terms of the work, and materials that I’ve been used.Arriving at our room, we were really pleased; it was spacious, and well equipped with tasteful furniture, and furnishings. There was a mini bar with reasonable prices, a coffee maker with sufficient pods, milk, and even creamer. Which is something that you’d usually only see across in the US. We’re British, but we do spend a fair amount of time in the US, and it was really nice to see the imported US fittings in the bathroom. It was literally like stepping into a US hotel bathroom. From the shower, to the twin basins, to the bath, it was all US brands. The bathroom was again a US sized room, and if you’re travelling from the US then you’re really going to feel like you’re home from home. Most of the bedroom furniture was American made, along with US style lamps with twist turn switches. Everything in the room had a quality feel about it.We had a nice view, and could see the sea, and hills across in the distance.

turned up to a frozen room to then wait for 2 hours for the guy to come sort heating was at the bar area and was approved by the bar stuff to be told we where not getting served we where to load to then get told sorry we approached the wrong group embarrassed me and my wife

Hotel is beautiful,extremely well maintained and all the staff are polite,helpful and nothing is too much trouble

Our room was lovely, spacious and very clean. The spa was brilliant, managed to use the facilities twice during our overnight stay. The staff were lovely.

A very disappointing dining experience at the 1906 restaurant. Took around 25 minutes for someone to take our order (drinks), we were trying to get attention but no one was coming our way. My husband had to ask for my drink (a coke) 4 times and I got it after 45 minutes of waiting. We received our food an hour and 45 minutes after being seated. The restaurant was not busy and there were so many staff (possibly too many?) but service was not great at all.

Complimentary upgrade to room in main hotel

First drink ordered at bar was given in a glass which still had lipstick stain from previous guest. Barman then proceeded to pour the drink from that glass into another rather than pouring new drink, not what you expect from any bar let alone Turnberry.Woken at 6am with fire door right outside our room being opened and closed anytime anyone went by, no relaxing lie in.

Beautiful location, facilities and rooms.

Very poor customer service. Had to wait for check in for 2 hours as the room was not ready, so checked in at 5pm instead of 3pm. They offered us complimentary drinks but they took 1 hour to arrive! We ordered food after asking several times for menu, and food arrived quite quickly after we managed to eventually order it, but still had to wait for drinks, even water was not offered to us. In the evening there was poor service as well with getting our order messed up, not providing us with cutlery and not cleaning the table with plates from previous course… Definitely need to improve customer service.

we did not get a room in the hotel as expected but were sent to a villa that was dated and dull and we had to get shuttle service to hotel which was not acceptable

didn't like being out in a villa and not getting a chance to enjoy the full experience, Short staffed and still waiting on my coffee at breakfast and phone call from manager.

I had the most incredible stay at Trump Turnberry—everything about this resort is pure luxury! From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable.The spa was absolutely amazing and the facilities were pristine. The infinity pool overlooking the breathtaking Scottish coastline was a highlight, and the thermal suite was pure bliss.The hotel itself is stunning, with elegant rooms offering spectacular views. The food was exquisite, and every meal felt like a fine dining experience. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a five-star golf and spa retreat, Turnberry is second to none.I can't recommend this place enough—truly a world-class resort! I’ll definitely be returning.

Room, cleanliness, comfort, views

Attention to detail was lacking…Poor communication…Mr and mr???? To great us on our welcome screen…Inconsistencies in food over stay…My girlfriends birthday - not mine…Wrong flowers on Valentine’s Day.Issues with just getting basics right…Highlighted to management and front end and still no meaningFul resolution.

My partner and I had came for my 21st on arrival we had a room upgrade which was great ! The staff were so welcoming and attentive before we even got to our room we were pleased, we headed for some cocktails before our meal and felt so relaxed bar staff were great.We went to the 1906 for food staff were amazing had lots of options. The food was amazing and service too. Room was very clean and comfortable too.Room service was amazing food was perfect.Many things to do around also !

Service, cleanliness and location all superb. Breakfast was outstanding.

Food in the golf club was a too salty

Bit unorganised at breakfast, waited for a table but it wasn't set when we went to it. Went to look at breakfast items and came back and it was half set, no condiments, missing cutlery, no juice glasses either on the table or at the juice bar

Beautiful scenery, food in club house and hotel very good.

Didn’t t get into room till 5pm, room was not serviced by 2pm following day , called house keeping stayed out of room till 430pm , bathroom serviced but bed not made, coffee cups not washed, coffee and water not replenished.

We had a fantastic room upgrade on arrival and celebration package in the room which was soo niceDinner was excellent and great service and we felt a great care for us

we did try to have a late check out, but hotel was busy, but was not an issue as we kept our bags in store room
