Pros +
- Nice staff, good restaurant, clean room, nice atmosphere
- I stay here four or five times a year ,every time it's excellent. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The food is topnotch.
- Staff was great, restaurant exceptional. Room was comfortable with a very nice bed. We liked the decor and the quirky hallways. Stay there and you'll see why. It's a neat hotel, not a massive box of rooms.
Cons -
- Air conditioning was not very effective
- I'm a spoiled American, and would have loved an air conditioner!
- Looking through the window straight into peoples houses. I never close the curtains at home as I like to wake to bright skies whenever I can.

Friendly staff, good breakfast, good location
When I reflect on my one weeks stay at Leapark Holtel, my one recurring thought is how glad I am that I didn’t go for the option of a major chain hotel. Leapark is the prime example, all too rare these days, of a small hotel where you feel completely at home as soon as you check in. From the receptionist to the bar staff to the cleaners taking care of the rooms, the staff are genuinely friendly and clearly take great pride in their work. I’m only sorry that I didn’t get to meet any of the kitchen staff because both the breakfasts in the Duke Room and the daytime and evening meals in the Treetops Bar were excellent. While I appreciate that some of the décor might seem a little warn, for me, that only added to the cosy atmosphere of this extremely well run establishment. It’s certainly preferable to the sanitised vibe of a major chain establishments which can leave you feeling as if you are an almost anonymous person who could be anywhere in the country or perhaps world. At Leapark, I was never in doubt that I was in Grangemouth, experiencing Scottish hospitality at its very finest. Special mentions go to the wonderful Carly in reception and Scott in the Treetops Bar. Both, from day one, made me feel like I was a loyal returning guest. Lovely people, with great conversation. I hear that Leapark has a high rate of staff retention which is a real comfort to know.On departing I felt sad that my stay hadn’t been longer and allowed me to get to know the Leapark Hotel and its staff even better. I very much look forward to returning, hopefully in the not too distant future.
Nope. All Good :-)
Friendly staff, good breakfast and good facilities.
Our room was close to the kitchen and was therefore noisy and also smelled of food when the window was opened.
The bar had fantastic food, good drinks and excellent service. All the staff was great.
Our room faced a busy street, so there was some noise, especially since it was a festival weekend when we arrived.
Excellent location, very helpful staff, they made safe our pedal cycles. Clean comfortable accommodation. Super breakfast. Quality tea/ coffee in rooms. Would stay again.
No all good
We liked the fast check-in and the pleasant staff. Our room was big and spotless upon arrival. We dined in the hotel restaurant, the meals and staff were great as well. We would recommend for a quiet place to stay. It was close to the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies. Good value.
Large room and bathroom.
Facing street + old windows causes traffic noise in room. No elevator.
Friendly staff, couldn't do enough for us ,excellent. Breakfast was good value for money and plenty of choice.Great location .
Excellent location ,comfy clean hotel .Staff exceptional and couldn't do enough for everyone.
Me and my mum really liked the breakfast it was really nice and really worth the money. We also really enjoyed the food in the bar and the prices was the location were really really good.
the only thing that we did not like about our stay is that our room was not cleaned properly the first day it didnt get cleaned and then the second day our beds was not done proper all the cleaners did was pull the bedding back over they didnt put clean bedding on the bed
Comfort, pleasant staff and good food at a fair price
I had a room in the annex. I had requested a room on a low floor due to a disability. The room was large and comfortable, the only issue was there was no natural light, except in the bathroom. However given the room was in the annex I don't think this could be rectified. This didn't impact on my stay.
room, staff were lovely
the bathroom was a bit outdated
The location was good. Good size room. The food in restaurant was delicious
No hot water in the room. Breakfast freezing cold. Window in rooms needed to be sealed as very drafty. Receptionist not to friendly.
It had all the facilities expected. It was clean, the staff pleasant and breakfast excellent. We were advised on booking that a lift was not available.
There was nothing to dislike.
Clean comfortable friendly staff
