Cons -
- May be a glass in the bathroom for water
- I can't blame hotel but we did have breakfast included on itinerary. Was told not available bit disappointing.
- Dirty bedding, on an overused knackered mattress, lack of bath, rudest most condescending woman I've ever encountered. When I said I wasn't happy the woman laughed and said I wasn't getting my money back. Worst hotel I've ever visited. £128 theft!

Room needs attention... A few things broken that just need a quick fix.
Although the rooms were clean, they lacked amenities that you had to ask the front desk for or like in internet was very weak or didn’t work at all.
Old frayed towels. Could hear music through the floor. TV didn’t work. Elevator was not working. Look like it has been out of order for awhile.
We asked them to hold our bags for 2 or so hours, they said they couldn't be responsible for our bags. We had previously asked via email and been told yes. Our bags had valuable video equipment we couldn't leave out. We asked if we could check in early, they said no. We asked for a refund and we never got one. They did nothing to accommodate our circumstances, circumstances that are accommodated at many standard hotel chains.
Umm, They dont do breakfast but evening meal was excellant and service was prompt and polite
The food in the restaurant was excellent.
Key didn't want to work in door of room 1.The duvet on the bed had brown stains & when pulled back what looked to be fresh blood. Pulled it off the bed & slept under a thin grey blanket instead.Every fixture seemed to be loose, this included all wall lights, safety hand rails etc. Steep stairs & called the handicap lift to go down in the morning & it was full of linen bags & unusable.
Location, everything was clean and modern. Great shower
Noise from extraction vents from restaurant kitchen. Stopped around 9pm
The staff member on duty was pleasant and helpful as could be.
When I arrived at the hotel i was asked to wait while they checked my room was ready even though I arrived after the check in time, I'm not sure what he checked when he was gone about 15 minutes but the room was unclean, hair on the floor, electric sockets not working, the bed was uncomfortable, and the towel was threadbare. The bathroom cabinet had spare parts etc in it and there was no plug stop for the plughole, shower floor was dirty. When I got back late evening and went to wash my face there was no hot water, shower was same. the staff member on duty was able to give me access to another room to shower, but was unable to make the decision to move me into another room. I left my number to be contacted by the manager, as I was booked in for 2 nights and wanted to ensure I would be moved to another room, no one called me so when I returned late afternoon I asked about the call not being received, I was told "we knew you were coming back so we didn't call you, yes you can have that room'. I also booked here because it said it had disabled access yet I was unable to use the lift due it being full with laundry stock, so had to notify them of that to have it cleared for the next day.The setting of the restaurant attached to hotel is beautiful, however the hotel side lets this place down, the corridor had dirt and dust outside the rooms, the carpet to the hotel is dirty to look at, and had stains in our room on the floor. It says it has keyless entry but the rooms have a key with no ring or anything just a key with a sticker saying the room no. Inside the room there is no Fire evacuation information as is in all hotels I have stayed in. If we needed to contact reception we had to go downstairs to find the staff as no phone in room and the number given went to voicemail.
Staff very miserable. Food was disgraceful all burnt
Staff were being unpleasant to us as guests one female in particular was very rude to me. It costs nothing to be civil and to have a smile
Everything was great. We were very tired as we had just arrived after climbing Ben Nevis. It was a comfortable hotel, great hot shower with plenty of towels. Also, the room heats up quickly and there is underfloor heating in the bathroom. Comfortable bed, and the location of sockets on both sides of the bed with shelves. Tea and coffee in the room, TV, wardrobe and plenty of space in the room.
We have stayed at this hotel a number of times now. It is the quality of the restaurant and location for us that keeps us coming back. The rooms are modern.
On this occasion it felt like maintenance of the rooms has slipped, the toilet was coming away from the wall, the tiles around the the sink at floor level were cracked, only one cup was in room for tea/coffee facilities, the spare pillows had been stored on what must have been a dusty shelf as there were marks on them. We will return and hope that maintenance has improved.
Absolutely nothing stay clear booked and went to room skirting was fully off food told managers was offered a refund but didn’t recieve hence why the feedback so no one else loses money stay well clear
Stay clear be warned
We stayed here on our way home to Aberdeen from Glasgow airport. So glad we found this place. The food is amazing. A very busy place at weekends. The beds were comfortable and rooms clean. We will be using here again as our stop over when coming from Glasgow airport.
Clean and tidy and up to date
My room was next to a heating cupboard ( I think ) in the hall that made a clattering noise several times an hr. Would have liked breakfast too if they’d done it
Lovely on site restaurant- food was great, staff really helpful and attentive. Great price for a room for the night.
Pretty basic but it was fine
Food was good. room generally okay apart from cleanliness.
Room, had not been vacuumed, no hot water to sink, bedside table stained with cup marks, bathroom bin lid top stained / dirty, unsure whether quilt cover had been changed. Desk chair far too low to enable working at the desk, I had to use the 3 bed cushions to make it nearly high enough. Disturbed at 2am for an hour with people banging on the windows to get in, including my bedroom window. Phone ringing out downstairs all the time this was happening and I assume I was the only person in the hotel. Had there been a night porter they could have dealt with this. I phoned the police to come, but once they left called them back to stand down. I barely got back to sleep that night.
Cosy rooms …although small room was provided it had all facilities and clean.
Very good food…although long awaited for food at restuarant
Meals were excellent, but needed to be booked.
Reception was in the restaurant and was difficult to book in.
