Glenskirlie Castle Hotel

Loved the location beautiful surroundings and ideal wedding venue for the one we were attending, ,staff were excellent and accommodating to our needs and polite helpful and cheery ,the room was clean and fresh and so comfortable,breakfast was excellent and the maple bacon on french toast was excellent my partner had a full breakfast and the quality of the ingredients was excellent,,a good selection of pastries ,fresh fruit and cereals so definitely something for everyone.

This property was a unique stay built to look like a castle of old. It was quiet throughout with a back terrace to enjoy a cocktail from the bar. The rooms were large and the amenities plentiful. The steak pie at the restaurant was delicious. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

Navigating around was a challenge. The halls zig zag around with lots of stairs to go up and down even tho there is an elevator. Keep your bags light! Our room did not feel very cozy as there are hardwood floors with no rugs. Our bathroom was dirty when we arrived so I had to have the staff come reclean the floors and remove a dirty towel left behind, which they did in a hurry. The restaurant was a nice option to have after a day of travel but was not very clean. There was a large glob of hair swirling about the center of the floor that remained there for the duration of our stay. Overall it was just an okay property. Cleanliness goes a long way in both directions.

Breakfast took FOREVER..... an hour between being seated and actually getting (somewhat overpriced) cooked breakfast.

We stayed here after a long day of travel, looking forward to a quiet evening and a good night’s rest. Unfortunately, rest was impossible. A wedding reception was in full swing — with loud music until nearly midnight, guests talking loudly in the halls until 4am, and doors slamming constantly.The hotel is charming in appearance, but the layout simply doesn’t allow for peaceful coexistence between overnight guests and loud events. You can be a boutique hotel or an event venue — not both. We reached out to request a partial refund and received no response. Very disappointing. Would not recommend if sleep is part of your travel plans.

I stayed here for work, but with the bank holiday approaching, my wife joined me for the trip. While I was out working after checkout, the hotel staff were incredibly accommodating, allowing her to remain in the hotel and making sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed — despite technically having checked out. Throughout our stay, the service was consistently friendly, professional, and welcoming. The rooms were excellent — a refreshing change from the usual modern hotel designs — and the food was fantastic, with prices that felt very reasonable. Would definitely stay again without a doubt.

Beautiful castle style hotel. Staff were lovely. Bedroom very nice and the bed comfortable.

Our room was directly above the function room where a party was taking place. Not advised of this when booking made. Loud music went on till after midnight which was horrendous. Gazebo set up outside the function room intonthe patio for guests so we had all the noise from this too with guests outside directly below us.In the room our radiator was leaking and a plastic container was placed below for the drips.

There was a private function on which they seem to do a lot of and the noise was a nightmare, if we had know we wouldn’t have booked it

A nice and comfortable stay. Liked the attention to details. Romantic and well equipped room and all over a beautiful place.

The continental breakfast was a bit simple, but then one could order eggs and other warm dishes.

Loved this place! It was the nicest place we stayed on our 12 day trip. Most comfortable beds I’ve ever stayed in. Staff was lovely. My only complaint was a lack of smart tv so we could watch shows. However, we made do by borrowing some DVDs. Will definitely stay again if we come back to Scotland.

Needed a quick night away so was very last minute. Room was clean and bathroom was spotless. Staff were lovely and stay was peaceful and relaxing.

It was a lovely property but not very private. We could hear people talking outside the door most of the night, took away from the over all stayThe breakfast was terrible, like actually terrible.

Lovely location. Very quiet. Extremely clean and comfortable. Parking was perfect. Highly recommend.

Welcoming, unique easy parking, immaculately clean. Extremely comfortable bed. Amazing bedrooms all individually decorated. Great value for money
