Bar service was a bit ropey
It was located centrally lots of shops within walking distance
The parking was not good had to use a car park up the street 10minute walk from the hotel
overall very good
problem with heating in room 315 staff unable to resolve.
We could not fault the service, the accommodation, the view was spectacular. What a gem of a place!Breakfast was the best we have had in Scotland.Large variety of assorted choices. The dinning area was a scenic vision.Local musicians played an array of beats & melodies with strong fluent vocals, that definitely made our time at Fishers Hotel even more special. The manager upgraded our room for my husbands birthday which was a nice surprise
The room was lovely.
Our stay was not a relaxing experience because the walls were far too thin and our sleep was interrupted by the noise from other rooms. I wrote a formal complaint to the hotel and have had no response. I could hear toilet flushing, floorboards creaking, drawers closing and even other guests yawning and coughing- the walls were so thin.
Very central, helpful staff when I took unwell and nice breakfast.
It is an older building and some sound carries like the floorboards outside and the pipes but this is just a minimal thing.
Nice enough room in a quite location Room was Kept clean Cleaning staff were great
No hot water from the tap . Luke warm at best Mattress for me was way too hard ,
The room was great the shower was great.Unfortunatly the breakfast was warm at besthe mealnwe had on Thursday night was excellent. The price innthe bar was a bit dear but it would not stop us from returning because overall ot wad great.
The breakfast should have been hotter
Location, big comfortable room. Welcome drink on arrival.
Stayed here before so was not chuffed to find out I had to pay for parking.
Good value for money rooms were clean excellent location in the middle of town .
Location and staff
Meal, noisy corridors and room above, heard every footstep at all times of night
We really enjoyed our stay at Fisher's - the fact that we were given a free upgrade to a massive twin double bed room was a major factor in that! The room was well furnished, well heated and had a nice view over the quiet hotel courtyard. Staff were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was excellent - it was a buffet so you could eat as much as you felt like. Overall, we received fantastic value for money. The location of the hotel is superb - about as close to the centre of Pitlochry as you can get.
Didn't expect to be charged for parking in the hotel car park. It wasn't very much, and I appreciate it may be difficult to find a free overnight parking space in the centre of Pitlochry at certain times of the year - not in February, though! The charge was mentioned up front by the receptionist, to be fair, so we had the option of parking elsewhere if we'd wanted to.
It was nice and central
Breakfast was cold understandable that big hotel and it buffet service the plate where hot but food cold
Great location, comfortable, warm room with lovely big bathroom and you can get room service now. Tea/coffee/biscuits etc good.
Enjoyed our stay and nothing I didn’t like as such but was a little disappointed as we’d stayed before and felt the breakfast was not what it used to be. Porridge was cold and very little fruit available. To be fair cooked items looked nice. Stayed three nights and whilst there was a trolley came round for extra tea/coffee etc on first day and we got fresh towels on middle day but no other housekeeping which seemed unusual. There was snow fall on third morning (forecast) but no evidence of pavement right outside being gritted, there are quite a lot of elderly people staying so could be fall risk.
Dissappointing
It was very dissappointing. The hotel was very cold in all areas. Fraying carpets in areas and when i called reception about a shower that did not work it took 3 different members from the maintence dept to try and fix it. The hotel has no atmosphere at all and I think the Pitlochry hotel advert is very misleading. Maybe i just picked the wrong hotel.
Centrally located to pitlochry. Hotel was spotless. Probably better for an older clientele.
A little dated and the breakfast was a little cold. The continental breakfast was lovely
