Pros +
- Me and my wife absolutely loved our room, the view was amazing. The whole team were extremely accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be back!
- Foodie haven on the banks of beautiful Loch Earn in the lovely village of St Fillians, close to Comrie, gorgeous walks and waterside activities. Achray house itself is a lovely but unpretentious restaurant with rooms, Laura the owner and host is very welcoming and the other guests made our stay very memorable. We were on a dinner bed and breakfast rate and upgrading to the tasting menu on our second night. Breakfast was leisurely and in the conservatory overlooking the loch. Dinner was served in the dining room next to a toasty open fire. Great spot to explore the surrounding area knowing a warm welcome and great food awaits your return.
- The location was superb. Our room was excellent. Large and spacious with even a separate bathtub provided in the modern bathroom. The two course dinner and breakfast included in the tariff were all top quality dishes and delicious.
Cons -
- The shower wasn’t great and everywhere was on the cool side.
- The bedrooms don’t live up to the quality of the food. There is. O thing particularly wrong, they’re just not the same standard as the food.
- We wouldn’t change a thing!

This was our 2nd visit here and once again, we felt like we were being welcomed into someone’s home. We loved it!
The shower wasn’t great and everywhere was on the cool side.
The food was excellent - far above what we expected. Beautifully cooked, nicely presented. Claire the maitre’d and her bar staff were knowledgable and friendly. The location is beautiful.

We loved the relaxed, friendly atmosphere , welcoming staff and of course the beautiful location. The restaurant food was exceptional and thanks to Claire for sharing her knowledge and introducing us to new wines.
We wouldn’t change a thing!
Great staff and incredible food.
Could do with a freshen up in the public areas.
Comfy bedLovely bathroom Amazing viewsGreat foodClaire was so friendly.
Lovely location and superb food. The facilities are mixed, perfectly comfortable but some what down at heel. The food , on the other hand, is extremely good. A superb chef and very knowledgeable staff.
The decor is rather down at heel but the enthusiasm of the staff and the quality of the food more than make up for the somewhat scruffy appearance of the entrance and bar.
The location was lovely
Room was not 100% clean and a bit tired.
Perfect stopping point on our journey home from Mull. The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. It was also dog friendly which is a big bonus. We did not have chance to explore the area but it was very picturesque.
We would have welcomed some more information at the cottage such as where to put rubbish and also about the local area. Some areas needed attention such as the loose shower head and one of the blinds in the bedroom.
Clean, comfortable and toasty warm room on a very cold January evening. Gorgeous Mackintosh style bed with great mattress and lovely soft pillows.Dinner was exceptionally good, with all three courses exquisitely prepared and presented. Despite being understaffed due to illness the service was friendly and attentive throughout our stay.An excellent breakfast overlooking Loch Earn and the mountains behind gave us a great end to our stay.
Stunning location overlooking Loch Earn. We had been for dinner a couple of years ago as we rented a holiday cottage in St Fillans - the food was so good we ended up going back the next 2 nights. Decided to stay for a night at the hotel this time and again weren’t disappointed - food was excellent. Staff friendly and knowledgeable about food and wine and nice cozy bar area for a drink before and/or after dinner.

Comfortable bed, nice room and shower, great setting, friendly staff, great food.
Comfortable bed, nice room and shower, great setting, friendly staff, great food.
Lovely breakfast. Good choices and service. Great view from breakfast room.
Didn't expect the weather to be so humid. So the option of an electric fan would've been good.
Beautiful scenery, very clean and the owners or people who ran it were so kind.
That it was a little off the main road and it took us forever to get there but it was worth it.
