Pros +
- The staff were friendly. The bed was comfy. The food was excellent - both the evening meal and the breakfast.
- Very friendly. Good food and nice atmosphere.
- Convenient location and served evening meal
Cons -
- The toilet was a bit difficult to flush as the handle needed to be pushed quite hard and fast. The radiator pipe heated up but the radiator itself did not meaning the room was a little cold at night and first thing in morning. The toilet holder was broken as well.
- Room was very cold initially and needed extra blankets. Extremely uncomfortable bed - could feel the springs. Tired decor.
- Having to get up to go home again

Location is close enough to the city for easy access if you want. Close to the A90 (Kingsway), for easy travel to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and everywhere else to be honest. Staff very friendly, rooms and the Inn were excellent and spotless. If you have the full Scottish breakfast, don't expect to be hungry for a long time.
Having to get up to go home again
Staff very friendly and helpful particularly Sam the barman and the chef. Meals were good.
Room was on the basic side, but Ok for a nights stay.
A convenient location for filming work I was doing nearby. Staff were great, leaving the door unlocked for me as I didn’t finish work until 0200. Quiet, clean ensuite room. Good parking and value for money.
A blackout curtain or blind and a ‘don’t disturb’ sign would be nice for people trying to sleep during the day.
Staff was amazingingly friendly, Ally, Michelle and Joe were really friendly.Breakfast was perfect.
Good value for a safe and quiet location with free safe parkingOwner was friendly and helpful.I will stay again.
Needs a new mattress, could feel the springsSmelt abit of dog. I wish places with multiple rooms could keep them separate
The staff were friendly and the inn was quiet.
The inn is clearly dated with dampness filling the entire place when staying there. The toilets and bathroom are poorly put together and are in desperate need of repair. The beds are old and you can feel the springs digging into you. Overall, if they'd just invest a bit of time renewing the bathroom, new beds, and new paint the rooms would be amazing!
The bed was large and relatively comfortable. The room was what I expected for a budget hotel. Good enough for a one night stay in transit to somewhere else
It was a budget room for a budget price. You get what you pay for
Breakfast was lovely and great value for money. We also had an evening meal and that was also great after a long day.The owners were very friendly and welcoming.Good value for money for an overnight stop.
Staff were nice and friendly very accommodating keeping the bar open until we were ready
Dated broken furniture have stayed in much nicer hotels for the price not enough pillows for the bed and it was squeaky confusing shower controls
Great location , very quiet village, the owners and staff were excellent, food very tasty and good value, nice traditional vibe in the dining room / bar
Nothing without being ultra picky
Very friendly, very welcoming on arrival. No fuss, room and parking convenient.I actually left my handbag in the room and only realised after I had checked out. The staff gave me the key straight back without question which obviously was really appreciated.
I don't think there was anything I didn't like.I don't think I knew check in wasn't until 4 o'clock, maybe should be in the info that gets sent by email, but I might have missed that when I booked.
Cheap clean great for a nights stay and dog friendly
Fantastic place. Brilliant staff, great food and drinks. Good rooms, perfect for our needs. Highly recommended.
Staff were lovely, great to be able to get a meal, dog friendly
Absolutely nothing good about this property.
