Pros +
- I was close to most shops and restaurants. Spacious room with a Big Bed, and the shower was good as well but the water pressure was a bit low.The tea provided was a life saverTea :))
- The bedroom was ok.
- Nothing really
Cons -
- The windows didn't closed enough, there was missing pecies. There was a bit of mold on them as well.A clothes hanger would be nice, because of the rainy weather.
- The Toilet was too high, almost like i was peeing standing up. I couldn't watch TV because it kept telling me there was no signal, disappointing really.
- I won’t go into details except to say it was extremely poor. Ok it wasn’t expensive but I had to ring the remote management for a better room as everything was falling apart including the bed..

Lovely sea view.Good location . Clean big room
The only disappointment for me was no cook breakfast
I liked the convenience of the location
Toilet seat was loose The room was as expected a little tired and needs some TLC with the furniture.I could get the electric radiator on.The first time I have stayed in a 'staffless' hotelThe check in instructions were sent through too late and I was worried about the process.I spoke to the man on ringing the door bell and all was OK after that.
The location was excellent, and the price felt fair for what was offered (before I was bitten by bedbugs!) At first, a staff member was helpful. When I reported the bedbugs, he came to my room straight away and offered a refund without asking any questions or even seeing the bites.
However, there were bedbugs. I was bitten badly and barely slept because the itching was so intense. The bites stayed swollen and itchy for over a week, and the experience affected me for around two weeks. I also felt embarrassed going to work in that state. I know I did not pay much, but it was reasonable to expect basic hygiene.I reported it the next morning, and the staff member again came to my room immediately and offered a refund. I could not move out straight away because I already had plans for the day. When I returned later, the staff member called and asked how long I needed before I could leave. I said about an hour, but he told me I needed to leave soon because he had already started the refund process on Booking.com. I had just come back from my running race and needed time to wash, pack, and sort myself out. I did not intend to stay any longer than necessary in a room with bedbugs. The call felt unnecessary and rushed, and his tone came across as a bit aggressive.
Good location
The carpet was stained badly room needs a update poor decoration
Location within easy reach of Congress hall.
ThePhotos are not a true reflection of the property or bedrooms do not be fooled thinking it’s a clean, modern looking hotel. Weeds outside. Building looked dirty. No reception staff, remote check outside via a buzzer to call centre. No furniture in lounge ..En-suite facilities, awful not clean. Taps full limescale and on plugs. Breakfast which they delivered to the room by a man in flip flops consisted of cardboard box with box juice, yogurt, biscoff biscuits, harvest bar and a dry croissant (no butter or jam) …
The room was ok, extra blanket in the wardrobe, and radiator in the room, the shower room was clean
When i arrived in the room, the TV was saying there's no signal, i went to the reception to let me know and they told me it was because of the weather and i was told to ring the emergency number, so i was a bit disappointed i missed Rachel Reeves budget speech, it's not my responsibility to ring the handyman, i am a guest, they should have sorted it out when they got the room ready.
I liked the view and the bed
Didn't like the night porter was very rude and upfront should go back to the place where he took customer service and retake it
The only thing I liked was that it had a radiator
The bathroom was dirty, there was a hole in the bathroom ceiling, also the shower couldn’t open properly and the bath mat was moulded
Great location to explore Eastbourne and the Coast. Comfy sleep both nights and cosy hotel room.
I loved! When I started reading the comments I thought I'd have a bad surprise. But I had a very nice comfortable bedroom with a big bed and nice shower. I was great!
I'd like to had some place to put the soap during the shower
Great location! Beautiful view from the room. Comfortable bed. Easy check-in.
Don't bother to order the breakfast. Ended up leaving a day early.
Good location
There was .no reception or staff of any sort. The room was smelly and there was a generator or air conditioning unit or something on the roof below our window, which was really annoying
Yes, it's worn down, yes it doesn't have a bar etc, yes bathroom is small BUT it is still a v good price for what you get! Staff are very stretched I imagine but the gentleman I met was very welcoming and helpful. The locations is great. I had the double with seaview and balcony - great high ceilings and superb views! Floor to ceiling windows :) Very clean!
It really would only take 5 mins and a philips head screwdriver to move the thing that holds the shower to the hole that is already there a foot higher up - that way you can stand under the shower without having to hold it. Yes it is still totally worth staying and if I had a screwdriver I would have done it myself for me and the nexy guest. It's sad when a v simple this isn't done so hopefuly it will be done now but overall this place is lovely and a bargain and the gentleman who met me should be rewarded for his customer service.
Good location. Ground floor room
Biggest concern was water seeping down the wall above our bed.It was odd there were no staff in the building except early in the morning. All contact had to been done on a Ring doorbell device in the lobby.Glass shelf in bathroom hanging off the wall at an angle making it impossible to use.
Staff very accommodating and friendly. Room comfortable and clean
This could be an excellent hotel as it has a wonderful seafront view overlooking the Wishtower. Good communication by text message and they did check that I had checked in. Very polite guy phoned me to actually speak to me so that's a plus.
There are no staff. The hotel is run remotely, apparently 24 hours. With the exception that clean towels and toiletries are supplied, this is actually a hostel. It has obviously had a past glory but greed from previous owners I presume mean that there are 31 rooms crammed in. There is no breakfast (no staff) and some fire extinguishers are missing. I got in to the hotel because someone was smoking outside and so they let me in. I am somewhat sceptical about the 24 hours-ness of the remote reception! The room absolutely stank - which I suspect they knew because the window was open - just some air freshener was all it would have taken. Furniture old and bashed with a mattress that I suspect has never been changed. Such a shame, it could be lovely again with investment since it is just around the corner from the conference centre. The person I spoke to on the phone said it was a budget hotel.
Very clean, beautiful location, great communication with the friendly staff
I have no complaints
