Cons -
- We booked a room including breakfast each day. When we arrived the host told us they don’t do breakfast in the wintertime so we couldn’t have it. We got upgraded to the suite, but even though the view was nice, the room was pretty old and stains were everywhere.

The property was clean and we were upgraded at no extra cost , staff were polite and attentive to needs .

The hotel is very well located, making it easy to access the main attractions and services. The staff are extremely friendly, professional, and always attentive to the needs of the guests, which makes the stay even more pleasant. This is not the first time I have stayed at this hotel, and once again the experience was very good. I feel comfortable and well looked after every time I stay here. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will happily return in the future.
The view from the room was lovely, the bed super comfy, and everything was great!Reception area was beautiful and clean.
Had to leave early unfortunately due to family issues.
Fantastic location - opposite pier & within walking distance of shopping & large room.
Damp on walls with torn wallpaper. Shower poor, small bathroom. Curtains don’t close completely!
Room was nice. Bed was soft. Lot of space in the room we had especially for four.
My room was adequate with a comfortable bed and good shower. However the carpet was really dirty and the bin in the bathroom and the toilet brush were covered in rust. The duty manager turned on the radiator for me but I was then unable to turn it off so was uncomfortably hot. Also I have an issue with mobility. I contacted the hotel about access and was told there would be 6 or 7 steps to my room. Although difficult I thought I could manage this. However upon arrival there were 10 stone steps leading to the front door which proved a struggle. Then was told the lift wasn't working to the first floor so would have to go to the second floor and negotiate 11 stairs. The duty manager assisted me on arrival but on departure I had to manage alone as there was nobody on reception. Up 11 stairs with a heavy case then down 10 steps to the pavement. Luckily a passer by stopped to help

Staff were very attentive and professional. From reception to housekeeping. Room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect for the town centre and the beach. Will definitely book again.
Lovely warm room luxurious shower very nice gentleman on reception he might have been the owner.Milk coffee and toiletries available in reception whenever needed. It is the 2nd time I have stayed there and will definitely stay there again as I visit eastbourne alot.
Loved how quiet it was plush headboards very clean room all mod cons nice space to do hair and make up at a desk and the staff were very kind.I loved the bath tub size and I had a hairdryer in bathroom.
I almost slipped in bathroom due to the floor being tilted to the left. So I put a towel on floor. That was the only downside that the whole room was tilting like beetlejuice
The rooms and the sea view!
It was disappointing that the boiler didn't work on the first night, but the manager promptly tried their best to accommodate us the very next day into another room and we had a wonderful night afterwards. We're also hoping by the next time we stay that the kitchen will be once again open for breakfast.
The location was very handy as I was going to 2 events near by. It is directly opposite the Pier and within easy reach of the beach. The room was a good size and there were the usual facilities including a kettle, tea and coffee. It had efficient blackout curtains. The bed was comfortable. TV worked ok, and was easy to use. The staff were polite. I have stayed at this hotel several times as it is very conveniently located and practical for my needs.
I was disappointed this time that the room didn't feel clean. The carpet was filthy. There were hairs in the bath. You couldn't use the 'do not disturb' sign, as the door wouldn't shut properly and then you couldn't lock it.
The bed was comfortable. Kettle, tea and coffee were provided. There was a wardrobe, a desk and chair. Blackout curtains worked efficiently. Staff were polite. Very good location, near the beach and not far from the town centre.
It was ok We had stayed here twice before and it was brilliant. We had breakfast and hot water and it’s nothing like that now. Will not be coming back
The shower was cold in the evening and in the morning my daughter tried to have a bath and it was cold had to use the kettle. Hole in bathroom door where you hanger hook used to be and one of our small lights didn’t work
Convenient for my business in the town.
I had a bit of difficulty closing the curtains, as the window was so tall. The headboard was wobbly, either repair or remove. Having said this, I would certainly stay again.
Location to seafront, pier & short walk from station.
Not much of a view but I paid for the cheapest room.
It was clean with very friendly staff on check in,
The outside looks a bit of a junk
They don't serve breakfast so went to local Wetherpoons which was excellent value. We were in Eastbourne for a birthday party on the pier so the location was ideal.Parking permit for £2.40 and found a space in the road next to the hotel.Deluxe Double room on the 1st floor. Lift didn't stop at 1st floor so bear this in mind when choosing your room location.
