Haddon Hall Hotel

A prompt and efficient friendly service.

The room was ideal for all my needs. The breakfast was a good and with quick and friendly service.

Good location near seafront, town and the pier. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. Value for money.

Struggled to get hot water running in shower. Bathroom and corridors a bit crampt.

Great location near shops and beach. Breakfast was good and cheap. Evening entertainment was great.

Hotel was a bit tired and shower was poor pressure. Had a top floor back room and think pigeons had got in the roof as could hear them nearly all night and day.

We tried this Hotel because it is so near to the Bandstand that we like to visit for the Tribute Acts. We enjoyed our stay at Haddon Hall, it was clean and the staff were very friendly. We will return.

The only thing was our small bedroom had the washbasin in the bedroom, I would have preferred it to be in the bathroom. I will check whether all the standard twin rooms are the same.

Meals were excellent but I think maybe the drinks could have been served after we sat down. My tea was fine as I take little milk but others having coffee were disappointed. Is hot water put in the teapot and jugs and swirled round just before putting in tea and coffee. This makes a difference. Every meal was excellent, hot and beautifully presented, and varied.

Lovely staff and much more modern room than expected given the age of the building. Quite old-fashioned in operation (not a problem - just a bit different). Seemed to cater mostly to the older folk, but no complaints at all from me.

I think it needs a freshen up, and modernising, feels old and dated.

Great LOCATION nice hotel CLEAN and comfortable would go there again SOON this year hopefully or next year YES .

Overall the experience is fine. Happy with the car park but unfortunately so disappointed with the privacy 2 times housekeeping entered in the room and there was no double locked from inside. Unbelievable they just open the door from outside and came in WTH. In my opinion privacy and comfort are the 2 main factors anywhere else in the hotel. We’ll not recommend to anyone.

Just needed a simple room for an overnight stay. Comfortable enough. Had to leave too early for breakfast. I'd stay again.

Room was a little dated and could do with a refresh, but happy enough considering the price.

Great position for the sea front, pier, cliffs, theatres, tennis and places to eat. Parking nearby is by paid for by phone not coins. However, NCP car park is two streets away ( give minute walk). This gave me 24 hour parking and I was advised to book a space for any large events taking place - air show, tennis etc.

Nothing really -I had single room which was small but everything that I needed. Seagulls are loud but that's the seaside for you.

The breakfast was amazing with a great choice. Location couldn't have been better for the airshow, bandstand and beach.

The bed was very hard and noisy. Every turn a spring boinged. Didn't sleep very well.

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. The room was small but quiet adequate for a nights stay. Glad the window opened fully as it was very warm in the room.

There is only wifi in the public areas of the hotel. There was absolutely no wifi signal in my room nor in the close streets outside the hotel. Not really the fault of the hotel the lack of signal but worth considering if booking in Eastbourne centre.

The room was very nice with good facilities. The staff were very nice and very helpful.

I would have preferred a front facing room as my room over looked the car park. I would have preferred a buffet style breakfast.
