Very clean, good sized single room, friendly staff. Great value for the price.

No towels on the first day. Had to go to reception. The room was NOT cleaned and no new towels on the second day. The receptionist explained when checking out that we should have ASKED to clean our room. Never happened to us before!!!!EVER!!

I didn't eat breakfast and the location was easy to find

Room seemed to have been refurbished recently, breakfast was ok

Very bright light outside the window of the room which would have made it impossible to sleep in, had to get a member of staff to go out on the balcony after midnight to turn it off

The customer service Specialy the reception staff, one nice receptionist is Turkish lady, forget her name was very caring during checked inHabib was very cooperative and caring throughout All staff wa very good

There is no ramp for buggy and wheelchair

The hotel is in need of an overhaul. The bed was very comfortable but the rest of the furniture needs replacing. The rooms need updating, our bathroom was very dated. The shower cubicle was very small. The cleanliness wasn't great, the carpet in our room was full of long hair which was evident when you got in the shower (having worn trainers all day) taking them off in the bedroom then getting in the shower and finding lots of long hairs being washed off your feet by the water (I have short hair). For the money charged for the Eastbourne Air Show weekend I was disappointed

Breakfast was ok, room was clean and bed comfortable.Staff was helpful, great recommendations for a restaurants around the area.

Not having drink water available at breakfast, only hot water for coffee since that was the only coffee they had.

That it was on seafront

Hotel needs alot of redecorating very tired had to tell them that we had a punch mark somebody had done in bathroom also had a hole in the skirting board hopefully wasn't a mouse hole eeek but did tell them 1 st morning breakfast was cold not very appealing both my husband and myself had a really bad belly a couple of hours after

Friendly staff, great view, tasty breakfast. This is a budget hotel offering great value for money in a good location.

Hairdryer in room would be handy. You can get one from reception.

Thr service at checkin and at the bar

The hotel is a bit rundown with carpets looking worn, paint coming off in places. The wholr place seemed as though it needed a complete make over.With the room, carpet was shabby, the electrics didn't work at the table area, the bathroom was shabby and couldn't get a proper shower. Could'nt shut the window Alarm went off in the middle of the night and no one came to check anything. Went downstairs never saw any staff and everyone just filed back to their rooms.Breakfast was a bit dismal. Buffet starter of cereal. Only two items on the main menu. Your order was taken by the chef, cooked by the chef and brought to you by the chef. No one around other than one lady on reception.

Location is great

Room was half the size last time we stayed plug socket were loose early hour of morning sounded like they were collecting the glass bins

the hotel was clean and tidy , the staff we did interact with were very good ,the food was really good too .

Value for money, good sized twin room, clean sheets, good location. Great for one night.

No hairdryer in room, when asked for one, it was a bit too much trouble. Had to come back later then wait while staff popped to hotel next door to borrow one.Breakfast not great. Really cheap sausage, couldn't eat. Hashbrown grey in middle, couldn't eat, baked beans tasteless. No cold water to drink. Staff asked us to move after taking our order as we chose a table for 4 and we were just 2. As the breakfast room was pretty empty we suggested he simply move the extra cutlery, which he did!

Windows would not open painted tight. Shower meant for little people not for someone 6ft tall.Bar on Sunday night was not even open.Now we get to what the hotel describes as a full English breakfast which was unfit to eat bacon over cooked sausage raw in the middle egg was so runny it looked disgusting and the beans cold so we could not eat it. I did complain at reception and they said come back tomorrow and it would be better we said no thank you thou I had paid for it so I paid for breakfast for 2 for two days and got nothing I was not even offered a refund. They need to look into the actual meaning of a full English breakfast because you fall far short of it.On a positive note they did get my window open and put a bigger fan in the room.I have stayed here in the past and I understand it is new owners that have it am sorry to say oi won't be staying here again. Very disappointed

Magnificent hotel very beautifully decorated, keeping it as traditional as possible. Fantastic staff, I'm going back again in May for 4 days with my sister. Amazing value. I'm looking forward to May.

On the sea front

It’s has a beachfront. My room is at the back, so it’s perfect as it’s quiet. Though there is no view.

There is no available hair dryer in the room. I asked twice but still didn’t get one. It seems like they only have a few available for the guests.

Bed was comfortable

Looked nothing like the photos. Pigeons outside on the roof waking us up, no smart tv in the hotel room, no hairdryer which is usually expected at a hotel, no iron, no spoons to make a coffee, housekeeping didn’t come every day to empty bin and it was a tiny bin but bed was made nicely.Shower door missing handle when we arrived have photos, taps had different heads, one of the lifts was broken so had to walk one side of hotel to the other with luggage.

The staff were excellent. The bedding was clean and fresh. The room was reasonably quiet. Nice carpet.

The room was incredibly run down. Holes in the walls, ceiling coming in, curtains falling off. It was a very small room. Lots of steps.
