The location and room.
Toilet.
None of it
The whole hotel needs a revamp down to the decoration plumbing heating the lift the bathrooms just generally everything
Warm room, hot shower comfortable bed.
Parking an issue.
Decent breakfast with plenty of seats. Location good right by the sea front and about 10 mins from town and train station
Able to book for one night, paid extra for breakfast which was excellent value for money. Staff all very cheerful and helpful will be booking again
an extra grab rail in the bath would be useful when using shower
Location was good. Staff weee friendly.
The window wouldn’t close & it was quite windy.
Staff, size of room and location of hotel.
Some locals (appeared a big difference in people - with nice houses and normality then drug users and suspicious activity). There could have been some meat on offer at. Breakfast.
Comfortable beds. Very spacious room. Very helpful staff.
Location, price, unobstructed wi-fi access.
I've had a mixed experience with Citrus Hotel over the past seven years. Some lovely rooms, some not-good-at-all. This, unfortunately was the latter. Problem 1a - The kind of "matchbox bathroom" with a tightly cramped toilet which obliges guests to take an Immodium before arriving, to avoid risking health and personal hygiene. Problem 1b - No door separating bathroom from "bedroom", increasing chances of smoke alarm being set off when one is bathing. Problem 2 - Cold, draughty - draught coming from windows which cannot be securely closed (presumably this can be blamed on imaginary health and safety regulations?!) Problem 3 - Still no disabled access in reception/entrance (stairs only).

Wasn't clean, everything old, dirty, very bad condition
The location is good and the personal very friendly.
If you book a hotel in england you problably will get a bad shower, bad windows and bad doors. It‘s the same here but that is nothing unusal. But the room was not clean at all. That should be better.
I stayed one night. The hotel was recommeded by a friend. It was on the seafront and my room had a sea view, which I enjoyed. The hotel staff were excellent, the room was good and bed was comfortable. All was good.
Shower was OK but water pressure was not great.
Stayed here many times in the past. Central location is good for us. Always clean and welcoming.
Rooms is looking a bit unkempt with cracks, badly painted skirting boards with gaps in and carpets needing a bit of attention.
Location was great. It was on the sea front and close to bars and restaurants. The staff were cheerful and polite and extremely helpful. The Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and Nancy made sure we had a plentiful supply. She was jovial and friendly and was a delight.
It was rather tatty and is in need of renovation. There was no bar where we could have sat and relaxed with a beer or glass of wine. They had a fridge selling bottled beer and other drinks but it’s just not the same.
It was a lovely sized room with a sea view and well laid out. Beds comfortable and shower ok, although not a power shower. Good breakfast. Staff in the morning were extremely helpful and friendly.
The building is a bit dated, but an effort has been made to improve it. Could do with more regular cleaning of the windows. Problem with toilet cistern filling. Staff on arrival not helpful when trying to sort breakfast for the next morning.
We had a sea view room, good size, plenty of room, very quiet, two showers was handy, small walk in wardrobe was handy, three chairs, small table.
The bed was a little lumpy, pillows overstuffed and disappeared between the bed and wall.
The breakfast was great and well worth the price with a lovely lady singing away she was very helpful, all the staff were nice, The size of the room was good as well as the location over all my husband and I had a lovely weekend stay.
