Eastbourne Riviera Hotel

Location was very good and it was very clean

Very very basic , bed was uncomfortable Wasn’t told at check in it would be noisy til 11pm due to a salsa class was told when we enquired about restaurants in the area

Eastbourne Riviera Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. Not only did I love my charming ocean view room, I also found the staff to be especially kind and helpful...I plan to return to beautiful Eastbourne in the fall, and will be booking to stay here for at least 2 weeks~ That's how much I love staying here! :)

It was on the seafront

Bedroom was rather small. The shower could’ve done with a shelf for putting shampoo, et cetera on

The staff. Flexibility to stay on a day to day basis for 3 weeks and a good rate. Parking was mostly very close.

Unfortunately I had to ask for a change of duvet cover. This was done swiftly and without fuss.

A Christmas night away. The room was basic but clean and comfortable. All the information regarding parking had been clearly stated in the information - we parked a couple of streets away, it was fine. Close enough to walk into town for meals and theatre. Room was nicely warm.

Nice small hotel basic but clean and comfortable. Could get to town ok .staff were friendly and breakfast was good. I enjoyed my stay and this time off year it was quiet .

A great location. Great view. Nice addition of fridge in room. Beds comfortable.

Hotel was a little tired. The decor was very basic. Shower had hardly any power and just trickled leaving you cold.

The location is great not far from pier, town centre and a pub on the corner with good food, the hotel is exceptionally clean with books ,games if needed, cannot comment on food as we didn't eat there only because we were meeting friends for the day, the bedroom was a good size, with a fridge and safe

Unfortunately the bed wasn't great it felt old and hard the manager did say he hadn't had any complaints about the bed before and we could choose another room for the 2nd night, would we stay stay again yes if we had a better bed.

Great location, prime beach spot. Quiet, lovely staff very accommodating and polite.

Bed were very uncomfortable probably need an upgrade. Rooms could do with a bit of an update.

The location of this property is amazing and beautiful because it is right on the sea front. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very reasonably priced with lots of options available i.e. cooked English breakfast/coffee/toast/cereal. Although the parking was not included in the price there is ample seafront parking next to the hotel which will set you back a staggering £2.35 for 24 hours. The general cleanliness of the hotel was to an excellent standard.

The ensuite bathroom was very dated and it was quite clear that the flooring underneath the vinyl had suffered many years of inaccurate attendances, which meant that every time you walked on the vinyl floor, there was a waft of stale urine. The bath was not in a great state i.e. chipped enamel - could have done with a good clean, so I used the shower which was fine for anybody beneath the height of 5ft 3 because the shower head wasn't movable so I crouched underneath it in order to wash the whole of my 5ft 10 body. The room was conveniently located right next to the elevator which meant that during the night whenever the elevator was moving, there was an audible whistle which was quickly followed by a breeze into my room.

Came for the marathon weekend- excellent location. Very friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Room had a beautiful sea view, although the room itself was starting to show a little wear and tear in places, but very comfy, large bed and generally clean. Represents very good value , would recommend and would definitely come again.
