San Clu Hotel, Bar & Brasserie

Room was clean and tidy, shower was spotless

TV didnt work properly. Was stuck to watching one channel or YouTube. Room was extremely hot and could hear all traffic outside from very early on in the morning

The room we stayed in was smelly (like drains) very noisy from the what sounded like a generator (room 300)

The staff were very friendly and very helpful. i liked the fact that the bathroom in my room was in a completely different room. The free wifi was also a nice addition as it meant i could work from my room

Outside my window were massive heating fans which were noisy from the moment i turned up and all through the night making it very hard to relax, There was also a distinct lack of plug sockets in the room

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Our original room was right over a very noisy air-con unit. It was also very tired looking. A quick call to reception and we were upgraded to a lovely room with a sea view. Everything was very clean. Comfy bed and snug duvet. Breakfast was very good - freshly cooked full English, fruit , toast and cereals. Nice coffee machine. Location was perfect for us with the main attractions within a 5 minute or so walk. A bonus was free parking.

Our original (cheaper) room had flaky paint and was very noisy. it's probably worth paying extra for a nicer room. We were only there for one night (thinking of moving to the area and were doing a recce) so thought we'd be OK.

The restaurant was a highlight. Amazing food. We had dinner and breakfast and it was so good.

Unfortunately our bedroom was really hot, even with the heating off and window open, it kept us awake at night

The downstairs areas are clean and modern .We booked a show at the Granville theatre and it was only a few steps away perfect !

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is good about 10 minutes from the town centre/harbour. Our room was excellent we had an executive with a balcony which was huge overlooking the sea. We had complimentary water, tea, coffee and a flapjack when we checked out.

The overall hotel is a bit tired and could do with a link of paint and a refresh however I would stay again.

Excellent room, great evening meal in the bar and breakfast very good. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

Nice clean hotel and location in Ramsgate was great. Faced the sea and great for a good walk. Food was if a good standard with good choices

Room felt a bit cramped and it would have been great to have a walk in shower. Wasn’t able yes shower unable to step over a bath

Comfortable beds, nice airy rooms. Staff friendly

Parking within close proximity of the hotel. Quiet, access to the sauna

We didn't have complimentary gowns on this occasion to wear for our walk to the sauna. When we mentioned this to staff, promising to return them before checking out, we were told they we no longer available to guests. When we stayed in the autumn of last year, gowns were available in our bedroom.

The hotel has a beautiful location, overlooking the sea, it's warm and welcoming, and the rooms are comfortable, as is the bed.Lovely shower room, and lots of extras - tea and coffee, biscuits, shower gel and mini soaps.

I really cannot fault it!

The friendliness of all the staff, great food and a lovely breakfast too! Hope to return.
