room was very good ,just a long walk but worth it. 3 course meal very good valve as we had room breakfast and dinner deal.pool , steam and sauna ok jacuzzi was not working pity.got late check outwhich was nice.

wanted a early check in but didnt work out as we had massages booked . but hotel did try.

The reception staff were very good. The bar area was nice. The ground floor of the hotel is nice. Just a shame the bedrooms are not as nice

The room was very small and the pics on the website was abit misleading… By making it look bigger than it actually is…. Not really happy about that and the breakfast was not much to Choose from too ….

Restaurant was excellent. Parking was available. Location is great.

On entry, to the hotel, there are no signs to the reception area. I walked into the sports club and was told where to go.The room had no hot water and the staff did not advise me.I tried calling the front desk using the phone in the room - it was not operating.I tried calling the front desk using my mobile phone - the desk did not answer. So I had to get dressed and walk to reception to be told there's no hot water. Nothing was offered in response.

There were not enough staff on in the bar and dining areas to cope with the the number of guests booked into the hotel and requiring meals . Hence despite the best efforts of those staff who were on duty there was a long wait to be served. We felt sorry for them. Additionally the meals although good quality and value for money were served on cold plates.

The stay was VERY disappointing.

The attitude of the staff was very negative. They did not want to help and when you was asking something they were very rude and blunt. They were not interested in listening. We asked for 3 rooms to be close to each other this was not met. 2 of us was on the 2nd floor and the 3rd room was on the ground floor. I was charged extra for 2 rooms even though I had proof that I had already booked the rooms but the front of house member of staff was not accommodating at all. I checked me bank account later to see I had been charged for my original price and 2 extra rooms. When I went back to explain this, the member of staff asked me to show her proof to which I provided and then said she would speak to her manager to see if we would be able to get a refund. The manager came out and was quite abrupt also saying that if he was to refund me and then find out we had not paid for the rooms then they would still have to charge the card. Proof was shown that I had already paid for the 3 rooms back in January and the error was on there part. Yes I was given a refund however I did not appreciate the attitude of the staff. I understand the job can be hard however maybe staff should have more training and understanding on how different booking systems work.

This is a very good facility. The only problem (which wasn't their fault) was that the boiler was working properly so you could not use the swimming pool or sauna. On the second day of our stay you couldn't use the steam room either due to staff sickness. Breafast is out of this world. I have never seen a better choice including glueten free cornflakes; bread/crossiants and vegan sausages. Eggs can be done to order i.e. poached and there are pancakes and omellts that can be ordered.

The warm welcome from the excellent staff, free parking, reasonably priced drinks. Good breakfast plenty of options. Good sized room.

The heat in the corridor was a little too much, we felt. We had a room facing the dual carriageway, with the window open it can be noisy. No good on that side for light sleepers.

Very big room which was clean and warm. All the staff were friendly and incredibly helpful.

The pool was closed which was disappointing. We booked this hotel for the swim and was not notified that it was not open when booking.

It was a very pleasant overnight stay. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The bed was comfortable, clean sheets, room was clean.

The service in the restaurant was slow and not very attentive. Food menu was ok.

Initially, we were given a room that had flying insects. We were then upgraded to an executive room wh9ich was pleasantly good in size, but no soundproofing, especially from the noise of the TV next door, didn't help...

No one put through on the website that the spa facilities, including the pool and jacuzzi, were out of order...not so impressed at all!! This was the reason why we booked the hotel inthe first place to relax and in good comfort.

The staff were courteous and professional.

The mattress unfortunately way too sagging which made the nights sleep uncomfortable, but overall the room and cleanliness was great.

Reception, lounge and dining room was fresh and bright a nice welcome from the receptionist when we arrived

Checking in and out was easy, managed by friendly and helpful staff. There were more facilities than I expected and the public areas were attractively decorated. Our room was simple but perfectly good.

My evening meal was awful. My son had a basic burger and that was very good but the much hyped Beef Shin Rigatoni was the worst pasta dish I have ever been served. The sauce was thinner than soup and the pasta was so soggy it wouldn`t stay on my fork. My advice is to stick to the basics. They were good and also good value.
