Facilities lovely and lady on reception. Great breakfast and room

Booked specifically because it has a pool. Arrived around dinner time to learn the pool is off limits to children after 5:30pm. This is not a family-friendly "hotel". As a family we would have been better off at a chain hotel with a pool focused on kids, not golf club members.

Room was lovely, staff were friendly, the pool, jacuzzi and steam room were really nice, small spa area but was a very nice friendly place and everyone was considerate of one another.

Food was delicious, the best burger I’ve had and great value, the resort was beautiful to look out on when seated for dinner, amazing breakfast options served including full English / pouched eggs on toast and more and continental options if having breakfast included with room rate, great place to go, even if you don’t play golf.

The young guys on the bar were so lovely and great at making cocktails :) We had a lovely stay with all and more that was needed beautiful stay and the grounds are gorgeous

I did not eat at the cottesmore but I had a drink in the bar. The breakfast options however did look very appealing and a great selection offered. The room I stayed in, the family room was fantastic with an amazing bathroom which was the best feature of the room for me. Parking facilities were also very good.

I like to use cash when I can and unfortunately cash is not accepted in the Cottesmore. It would have been beneficial for me to use cash in the bar or restaurant.

That the side doors to the pool wasnt unlocked would have made it easier for myself with limited mobility

Really friendly staff throughout the hotel. Spa area staff were especially child friendly.Food was very good. Hotel was incredibly clean throughout. Rooms are great. Bathroom was huge and bright.

Not a lot. Sound insulation was not great in the bedroom, but otherwise, the room was well appointed, light and spacious.

I have stayed at the hotel before. This was my first time in a lodge and I was very impressed. Wonderful underfloor heating, big towels, comfy beds, lovely pillows, well equipped kitchen, including kitchen paper, cleaning things, dishwasher tablets, tea, coffee. Great water pressure in the shower and nice to have a bath as an option. It was a real little sanctuary for me, a proper retreat.The gym and spa are great facilities with everything you need and friendly staff. I will definitely return.

We had a really lovely time at Cottesmore. Very clean and great facilities.

We had an extractor fan in our bathroom that had been fixed to the wall but the painting around it hadn’t been finished

The location was great. On a golf course, very relaxing. Rooms were spacious, staff friendly. Breakfast included in price. Being able to use the spa facilities. Felt relaxed after using swimming facilities.

Bed was two singles put together. Could feel the split down middle. Better to just have one big bed. Food was okay. Chips cold at dinner. We were in room 26 which shared with another room upstairs. Could be loud with front door shutting/ closing/ rattling.

The room was lovely and clean. The hotel was in a good location with beautiful scenery.

The dinner was quite basic and the spa was over crowded.

Fantastic location with easy access to Brighton, Gatwick and the SE. Lodges very comfortable and cosy. Staff friendly and helpful. Great facilities for a relaxing stay.

It’s such a shame dogs are not allowed to stay in the lodges, this would prevent me from visiting again.

Scenic location set back from the road but close enough to the motorway connections. Plenty of parking space.

Room was fairly compact and the shower’s water pressure could have been higher.

Bed and pillows were hard and room was sound uninsulated which meant that you could hear other guests. On the steps outside and talking which was really annoying Reception girl in gym( blonde) was border line rude.

Location, grounds are beautiful.

Put up bed was too hard.For grandson to sleep on.Found a quilt in wardrobe ( thought I’d use it to help make it more bearable for him ) quilt was very badly stained from urine.Why would it be put on show I do not know.Made me feel sick to be honest.We had to have him in bed with us ( not ideal for a 10 yr old ) Ruined our stay here
