Pros +
- Was very dated rooms were scruffy, bed not comfortable
- The reception area looked nice, and the guy working the reception was professional and pleasant
- Staff were very helpful and friendly. First room offered smelt unaired and damp but quickly found an alternative which was lovely. Hardly anyone staying there so food very limited but I chose a Sri Lankan curry and it was delicious. no room for dessert.Comfortable bed and all amenities and lovely toiletries in bathroom.
Cons -
- My room stank of cigarette smoke, but to be honest that was the thing that tipped me over the edge and I actually decided that I couldn't stay at the hotel and I left within minutes of arriving.Walking to my room the place just felt dirty and not at all cared for. Signage was poor, decor was poor, the whole place felt very unloved. It was really not a pleasant place to be

- Dated room and broken toilet seat (and that’s a big fail).

Good location, free parking, The staff was excellent on arrival. Clean tidy rooms. I would stay again.
I can’t speak for the hotel rooms other than the very cheap room I had, but my room and the hotel is very dated but clean. There is an adequate gym and very nice swimming pool, families would love it.
Dated room and broken toilet seat (and that’s a big fail).
Surroundings and appearance
Bed was uncomfortable, could feel springs when trying to sleep and as you moved. The breakfast wasn’t worth the money and dripping in grease. Paid for late check out which was £10 on line but had to book at property which was £15!
Staff were friendly and efficient. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet, away from the main road, looking out onto a pretty, green courtyard, and the food was good.
Location, cleanliness, price
Bar staff not helpful
Friendly staff, leisure options, great location for catching the train into London. Excellent breakfast.
Booked double room but rang by hotel to say it wasn’t available so had a twin room instead , room a bit damp but all we needed was a bed and shower for one night unexpected stay so overall happy with it
The breakfast was edible but could have been hotter we arrived at 7:45am. Some table had dirty dishes etc and tables dirty even though no visitors around. No staff to ask questions too.Location was great as it was only 10minutes away from our appointment the next day.Although busy main road once inside it was quite. Both parties slept very well in the beds and room was very clean.
The tv in 121 couldn't get tv channels for a picture to beable to.watch a program. Could have done with x2 bottles of water as their were two people in this room.
The bar lady was very attentive ,the chef (kevin) top notch, breakfast good value and tasty, great choice.Your price did feel.very cheap.considering it included breakfast and you have the leisure facilities.Poll was lovely as were the sauna and steam room .Gym Was well equipped.staff at leisure desk happy to help but employee of the month in my eyes would be the bar lady, this girl needs a promotion ?
1st room had a recess 251 with opaque window but no blind or curtains,afterb8pm room was as light as midday and couldn't sleep I spoke with receptik and wd moved to another room.Matress was to soft ,I would suggest investing in better mattresses lohe premier inn even if this means increasing cost as one of tge most important things about staying in a hotel is sleep and the existing ones are poor quality. Only one soft pillow need to have more than one.Get the changing rooms finished I the leisure centre,I spoke with a few locals whilst there and everyone of them said it is disgraceful that it's taking so long.
Good price
Bed was not great and the pillows were sadly hard !
Very reasonable price Staff were amazing
Felt room was a little tired
The room was okay! Bathroom was clean
The radiator wouldn’t turn off so was very warm. No bottled water in whole hotel?
Ideal location
The room we were allocated (233) was very warm (evident by the 2 fans in the room). The room (although having a no smoking sign) smelled of cigarettes. The hotel was full otherwise we’d have complained. The breakfast was average at best
We took our dog it was very clean and staff friendly
Clean, comfortable, good value
Good staff good facilities
Room was a bit hot and had no window but really wasn’t a problem
