very friendly staff, good food, great location right by station, welcoming

bed was very uncomfortable - I could feel the springs through it! Room was clean enough but dated. Shower was a dribble with no power at all. Sound from the sink/toilet very audible in the next room

There was only cold water; when the water was turned on, the tank in a separate closet made an unpleasant sound that echoed throughout the room; the TV would not connect to the internet or Netflix.

I liked the room I originally paid for £85 just the heating wasnt working so I got moved to room 1 which is a cheaper room £75

It was an old fashioned Victorian Railway Station hotel. It was clean and friendly

In room 12 there was no heating, no hot water/pressure. and the window would not shut properly and it was raining! The window sill was wet and the room smelt damp! It was far to cold in there, they must have aware as a portable heater was also in there but sadly did not work!

Friendly staff, room was warm and big enough for our stay. Charged us 20 quid a night for the dog which I thought was reasonable.

Hostess allowed a late check in due to travel delay, assessed our needs and moved us to a more suitable room. Provided excellent room service meal and were very accommodating. The room was beautiful. We had a lovely visit thank you.

Breakfast was not available! Noisy occupants, Loud music next room early evening, doors slamming late evening and early hours. Money taken from my card on arrival, reason given , 'if you cause any damages'. That should have caused alarm bells, never been asked that before. My room overlooked the rear yard, not an issue though noisy fan, extractor working.Sink was so small almost impossible to have a shave in without spilling water. Bed mattress was terrible deep sunk in the middle! Smelt of smoking on first floor when arrived!!! Shower pressure very poor. No one available upon check out to discuss concerns. Hotel in name only from my experience.
