The bedding unfortunately hadn't been changed. Sheets were dirty. Was moved to a bigger room but carpet was very stained. Staff were apologetic

We stayed new years eve it was very cold window in room did not close leaving gaps causing adraft heating did not come on till 4pm but room room was already ice cold but with draft from window it did not warm much good job we only stayed one night

Location to town is excellent. Car parking is free,checking in and out went seamlessly.

Room was a little cold and would benefit from being decorated and updated.

Some of the rooms are very nice and quiet and clean. We were able to book rooms at short notice so plenty of availability.

One time we stayed we were in a room above the function room which unfortunately was quite noisy. The car park is quite small so you will neet to spend a little time finding parking.

Room was very clean and bed was very comfortable.

Room was Three flights up.

Good location in a pleasant part of town. Friendly and helpful staff. The Beatles stayed here many years ago.

A bit tired looking in certain ways, but they are obviously working to improve areas.

Unfortunately it was disappointing! The staff was disrespectful, and here I mean a lady manager, she treated us with indifference, ridicule and superiority! very disappointed with the cleanliness, with absolutely everything!!!

Bedroom was dirty , dirty plate left from previous occupant, bathroom floor was un swept. No shower gel

To be cleaned

Location was so good. Traveling around Doncaster by foot was marvellous. The Regent is also located at the good part of town, away from the chaos of Silver Street etc. It’s also a family run business, so Simon and his team are dedicated to making every stay memorable. The actual regency architecture of the premises makes it quite quirky, which is definitely a good thing from my point of view Traveling as a single woman, I felt a sense of safety in this establishment

No bar fridge in my room!Visiting from Australia not having accessible cold drinks was a challenge.The front of house bar staff alleviated this by jugs of house… but it was a bit of a mind bungle that fridges were not just available?

It was clean, comfortable and expedient! Within easy walking distance of the town centre.

Not much, really! It’s an old building but the proprietors have made up for it! ?

Location and parking

No heating , freezing room. There was someone in the hotel playing drums extremely loud none stop from 9am till 11am sunday morning and singing absolutely unbeliveable to wake up to that, never in my life have i been so furious with a hotel. Dirt & stain on the shower area, dust on windows & blinds. Staff not accomodating.

Fairly large and well-equipped room (there’s even a trouser press), comfortable bed.

The constant noise of an engine placed right under the window makes it almost impossible to sleep

Great location for a good night out all bars close Basic room but ok for one night. Staff friendly and polite.

Parking limited at property but is parking near-by. The shower in the morning didn't seem to work great for the hot water. The pressure went, maybe to do with being on the top floor.

Staff welcoming, room was lovely clean and spacious and really comfortable

Always like staying here, great staff and great location.

Wasn't too keen on being woken up to the scraping of table and chairs from the bar underneath. We stayed in room 2. The sequel of the amplifier was a bit much too.
