Owston Hall Hotel

Loved the breakfast cooked to order.

Coffee could have been hotter.The post code did not work so the hotel was difficult to find. No sign on the entrance drive.The room was not very warm.

Clean & comfortable

No mirror in the room to dry or straighten hair. Room was cold. Couldn’t work out how to use the kettle! Maybe leave instructions or just a straightforward kettle.

Warm, clean, elegant surroundings. Huge bed - one of the most comfortable hotel beds ever.Lovely helpful staffWe had our dachshund with us and she was welcomed and well provided for as well

Lovely comfortable, very large, room with comfy bed. Well equipped bathroom. Yhe bottles of water and tea tray were very welcome. The bar area was very inviting.The staff were all really friendly and the location was great for visiting relatives in Scawsby, Doncaster.We ate at Darios one night and that was very good.Thank you! We will be back!

A small fridge in the room would be nice.And a little more shelf or drawer space to unpack clothes.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Owston Hall Hotel and felt very welcomed by the staff. It was very dog friendly and my 2 little dogs felt very at home too. The staff were really helpful and helped me to get to my room with all my bags when I arrived and when I left which I was very grateful for. The breakfast too was really nice and the dogs really enjoyed the sausages. I certainly wlll be recommended the hotel to others and hope to stay again soon.

Lovely location and near Doncaster. Terrific staff who could not have been more helpful. Enjoyed a walk before leaving the next day. Good food.

No heating in the bathrooms made them chilly. Rooms were almost too big and a bit dull. Almost non existent WiFi. Expensive wine.

The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was good with a range of options. All of the sstaff were extremely friendly and helpful.

The only downside was the free wifi was intermittent.

This is the 3rd time I’ve been here and check-in is always easy and the room is always clean and tidy

Smallest complaint is that the radiator in the room seems a little old so everytime it came on it made this clicking noise that woke me up 3 times in the night. But I’m a very light sleeper which doesn’t help!

Nice and clean friendly helpful staff

I loved everything! The hotel was beautiful, the staff were all lovely, welcoming, friendly , helpful and accommodating. They were all dog friendly and made our dog super welcome. The room was gorgeous, super comfy bed and pillows. Food was lovely, especially Mario's restaurant. Will definitely book again, cannot wait to return

There was nothing I didn't like, I loved everything.

More vegan lactose free options needed as I had allergies but staff listened to sort my food

Absolutely everything - we arrived later than expected and the staff could not have been more helpful; ensuring that we had a meal and could relax as soon as we arrived - superb service throughout our 2 night stay from everyone, and the accommodation and location were wonderful!

The hotel was fantastic. The building and rooms were lovely. The staff were incredible.

The floor in the room wasn’t the cleanest, there were several long hairs. The tea cups and spoons also looked a little stained too.

Excellent, helpful front of desk staff. Couldn't do enough to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

Room was a little too hot at night couldn't turn the heater down. There was nothing else to actually dislike about our stay.

Nice room, good food, good value, stunning location and building, with an odd layout.

Due to road works directions and signage were poor. I had to call the hotel and then go to a back gate and ring a buzzer to get in. Wifi was very poor but apparently the roadworks are to rectify this.

The hotel was decorated so beautifully for Christmas and the staff were all friendly and always smiling.

I would’ve liked an email to tell me that the main road to the hotel was closed as my satnav took me to the wrong place and we had to drive all the way back to go through the back entrance. But apart from that, everything else was excellent.
